File Name: 4 Queens (Bally 1970) Modbysing

File Submitter: singinfool64

File Submitted: 02 Jul 2020

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME - MOD Tables

Author(s): Kees, singinfool
Manufacturer: Alvin G
Year: 1970
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

I sent this to Kees to upload, but he told me to go ahead and upload it as a mod! I tried to make it
much more accurate to the real game. I changed bumper caps, mushroom caps, and flippers, along with sound and physics!
The Pandemic has given me much more time to rack my brain on VPX and learn soooo much more!! :D
Much thanks to Kees for allowing me to upload my changes!

Cabinet mode I have a black bar to the left of the plunger. I can not find what or where it is in the editor?  Thank you for the table!

Yes..... It was in Kees table and I searched everywhere to get rid of it. When I found it there was an empty spot behind it, and I couldn't figure it out, so I put it back. If you can figure it out, let me know. :D

That "black bar" is a decal on the backglass/pov section on the editor. -=Kees=- put it there for the desktop view to give his high score reels a solid background to help readability.

Decals are interesting because they can't be made visible/not visible like other objects in VP (they don't have a name associated with them). So to get rid of it, just delete it.

Pinballman... just go in the editor and delete the extra objects. I'm used to working with Cabinet mode, so I didn't think to remove them! :)

Dear Kees, dear singinfool64,

thank you for this VERY nice recreation and the effective improvements.

One suggestion: I turned the kickerholes by 180°, now the mechanics and shooting directions matches:

Two requests: can you align the flipper arms in closed position to avoid this (I have seen that the angles are set correctly)

Can you delete the blinking effects at the under playfield light with lenses, no EM has had this.

Again, thank you very much for this nice table, I love the Ted Zale Jim Patla creations!!!

Greetings, Christian.
