Maybe you like one of these I've made in Tarcisio's style for the wheelbar.

1st Michael & all others who have contibuted their time and efforts to realize this table - Thank you !!!

I have a VERY strange effect on this and other MAC table (SpaceTrain), with use of IPAC-2 the games does not start. When I checked with notepad the start button over IPAC-2, it delivers "1". When I use a keyboard over USB (like the IPAC) the game start when pressing the "1"- button. All other tables regardless if FP or VP show no deviation.

I modified line 232 to

if keycode = StartGameKey then
vpmTimer.PulseSw 3
end if

now the game counts up 5 credits but does not start, however with the keyboard "1"- button it starts a game and counts up 5 credits.

Does IPAC-2 delivers a signal curve the rom- emulation can not work with or ?????

I'm confused, Christian.

I also use the Ultimarc I-Pac 2 and have no problems at all. Every table works great.

And Michael's Mac Jungle plays great. A very good table. Hope, we will see a better backglass in the near future.

Thanks to Michael, Akilles, Dark and GtxJoe who are involved. Good work and a very nice addition of a rare table.

Hi Joey, is your IPAC-2 connected via USB or PS2?

Hi,

it is a weird approach but I will be able to implement the Post-It-Highscore. The idea is to emulate the score LEDs via the Controller.ChangedLEDs call (Destruk's LED approach). Unfortunately this gives back just the changed segments, so I have to create all the score LEDs and update them all the time. Once the GameOn Relay tells me that GameOver is reached, I can read the lit VPin LED-segment lamp states and convert them into a score - voila.

Score tracking for the 4 players is done already, I will now add the name entering dialog together with GTXJoe's Post-It code.

I will be away for the next two weekends, so it will take some time, though.

Regards

Michael

I got it working. Maybe I will add the option to enter the players name as well.

Taking care of the 10x lights to handle a score rollover for the highscore, I realized that the desktop version may need an indicator, which player is on. This will be added too.

Did I understand you correctly when you say that you are able to track the vpm score and even if it rounds ? There are more than a few tables being just 6 digits that I would love to be able to add high score notes to.

Hi Thalamus,

the normal score capture is done via the LED segments. The score rollover can be detected easily if there is a backbox light for this at each players score. If such a light is not present, You could establish a watchdog, that raises a flag (virtual score rollover light) once the score is decreasing during gameplay. A 500ms timer would be sufficient for such e regular check. It could look like this with "GetLEDScore" is the function that converts the shown score.

Sub WatchdogTimer_Timer

    'Player1

    NewScore(1) = GetLEDScore(1)

    if NewScore(1) < OldScore(1) then

        P1Rollover = True

    end if

    Oldscore(1) = NewScore(1)

  'Player2

...

End Sub

Hi Score ..Yay! I don't play tables that don't have a high score. I really like this table, so I'm very happy to see this implemented. Thank you Michael !

Here is what happens to me. When playing if I get a high score the post it pops up before the ball end to let me enter a high score (I lose the ball while trying to enter my initials) and does it again at the end of the game. It should only do it at the end of the game.

The reason for a such a behaviour can be a wrong GameOver Solenoid call. The Solenoid normally switches only after the match sequence.

If the Problem persists, maybe I can add a timer to make sure the Solenoid is truly in GameOver mode.
