I agree that the crane and wrecking ball are top notch. Feels a lot like the real assembly (at the pizza parlor down the steeet from me).

Yes, even the crane assembly moves a little bit in reaction to an impact. Very realistic.

What a stunning table it has become, a BIG thanks to all involved ! Never played the real pin a lot back in the late nineties, and i only have seen two machines ever.

Anyhew, upon first play i had terrible stutter, fps limiter was enabled in table properties, set it to -1 and presto, übersmooth @ 4K, pinball bliss, and DANG! this looks good.

What a treat !

Hi,

it seems that some of the VPX release versions are causing nudging problems - leading to the error reported by Arngrim.

I am developing the table with release 2660 and Scorpion has reported release 2798 as stable too. So I would suggest You use one of these versions, if You encounter nudging problems.

Regards

Michael

Firstly really great table all involved, really liking it, no easy beat, seems to work fine with my slightly older VP10.2/2791 version, then again I'm a lowly DT user only..

I do feel the red flashers are slightly overly bright, curious about the greyed out blotch on the background image and if I maybe so bold for those 2 smaller white flashers on the back wall the X orientation is 90 degrees off?

Hi StevOz,

You can use the Const DimFlashers to reduce the intensity. Try a value between -0.5 and -0.7. The grey spot on the backdrop image took care of a transparency issue at the toilet ramp. I have found the reason now and can include a spotless backdrop image within the next version.

Ah, and the white flasher will have a RotX setting now too in DT mode.

I notice some tearing in the lower left red flasher while it is flashing.  I'm guessing maybe that is a VP issue that I have never noticed?

Wow, just gave this a go, great table.  It has been about a year since I got to play a real Junk Yard and this really feels good.  Also it is one of the prettiest VPX tables available.  Just so much good work done on this one.  Thank you all!!!!

I do have an issue that isn't specific to this table but it is happening with this table so here is a good place to ask.  I have it on a couple of tables and I was wondering if anyone knew the answer.  My mechanical plunger works but it doesn't animate.  I am on VP 10.2.0 Revision 2765.  I took a quick look at the table and mechanical plunger is checked.

If I pull back on my mechanical plunger it does not animate (it will launch when I let go), if I use my "Launch Ball" button it animates just fine.  Like I said, this is the second table I have this issue with, the other is a version of Cirques Voltaire.

Edit: one thing I forgot to mention, I have found threads suggesting that I go into the table and update the plunger but seeing as these are new tables I dont really think that is it. Also I notice that both of these tables have an auto plunger. I will do some looking on my cab to see if I have any other VPX tables with Auto Plunger enabled and if this occurs there too.

Edit2: Issue fixed in table Version 1.2.

Just select the plunger object and then click the box to enable mechanical plunger. I think it's under physics tab I can check if you need me too.

Hi Burnt,

please leave the Autoplunger active, it is necessary for saved balls. ClarkKent has reported this behaviour and I have a solution ready. I will upload version 1.2 this weekend.

Here are the 1.2 fixes so far:

- corrected backdrop flasher RotX in DT mode
- corrected SideWood material for correct DT backdrop display (new backdrop image included)
- adjustable sound level for ball rolling sound
- option to increase BallSize

- fixed the plunger animation for mech plungers

Michael

Edit: 1.2 is online, just changed the category to VPX/VPinMAME Recreations
