Thanks arngrim, I'll add that in the next revision. I plan to redraw the playfield, but I need to find some good pictures first, because I'm not able to redraw everything, so I'll need to copy/paste a little :)

1.0.1 updated 17 May 2016

Since redrawing the playfield will take ages (if I ever do that), I updated the table with these changes:

- Added the bumper lights to the ROM controlled lights (they are in use if you change to 5 balls)
- Added DOF and controller.vbs by arngrim
- Changed a little the orange lights

i.m.o. you dont have to do any Redraw, i think its already very nice ...

Of course, Redraws are always nice, too.

Yes, I agree, I have looked for pictures and I have found a few, but not enough to rebuild the whole playfield. I have the images of the plastics though, but they aren't so different when in VP.

So I leave like this for now :)

Just download it again :) I saved with a 10.1 beta and if you play it in vpx 10.0 then a value is corrupted. Just download it again and it is ok.

JP .. I used a clip of your script to play music during gameplay like you did on your fast draw table. I am not a pro at scripting at all .. but I did get it to work with copy/paste, its a nice extra to have the Globetrotters theme playing in the background :D

Thanks very much again for this table

How to set up FIRST REPLAY (240.000 pts) and SECOND REPLAY (480.000pts) according to the INSTRUCTIONS and REPLAYS CARDS:

Press the number 7 six times (pc keyboard) until 01 is displayed in the Ball In Play/ Match display.

Press the pinball Start button (or number 1 on pc keyboard) to reach the desired points, (240000). It raises 10.000 points every time 1 is pressed.

Then press 7 again, and 02 will be desplayed in the Ball In Play/ Match display.

Press the 1 key or the cabinet start button to reach the desired points, (480.000).

Then press 7 key until the machine resets itself and goes to attract mode.

Insert coins and have fun  :)

This procedure is valid for all SS 80s Bally and Stern games.

Playcade.

HiScore: 566 000, come on ... ;)

Thats true, a bit fast ... of course, just a new Playfield lol, we have to wait a bit only ?

Hi, Stat! If the game is fast for you, you can decrease its slope...

But for me, it is OK. Compare the VPX version with this video:

It looks very very fine!!!! :)   Thx a lot...

I love especially the fading lights (when I loose the ball ;) and the glossyness of the playfield!

Really nice!

THX :)

JP whats the reason for an update ?

The reason for today's update is because the material for the transparent plastics was wrong and the transparent plastics weren't transparent.

And the reason for the version 1.2.0 is mostly to ensure it is compatible with VPX 10.2. The table was made with VPX 10.0 and some values were wrong when played in 10.1 and 10.2. That's why I updated all the tables.

Great table. I have a question though, I have my old b2s file in my tables folder and its launching and running fine during the game but how do I suppress the dmd created by the controller in the script? I'm running a 3 screen cabinet.

UPDATE

3.0.0 Updated 20.04.2021
- New graphics, including a new playfield redrawn by me. Thanks to Noah Fentz for the pictures of the plastics.
- Adjusted physics to my Arcade Physics 3.0.1 for VPX 10.7
- Added SSF support
- Added changing of the ambient lightning by holding down LeftMagnaSave and by pressing RightMagnaSave it will switch between LUT images, from light to dark, 9 levels, and the selection will be saved for the table.

I made this update mostly because someone asked for Space Rider (a conversion kit for this table from Geiger), and I ended up redrawing the whole playfield, and updating the plastics with the pictures Noah took of the table :)
