If you are using the new controller.vbs file then the parameters are set one time and stored in user/controller.txt - if things are not going right for you, then remove that file and run the table again and answer the prompts.

(assuming you have b2s server installed and normally are using directb2s files - NOT the old .exe b2s files)

That did not work. Same issue. no b2s loading. I am using the newer .directb2s format. Other suggestions? Also, will removing the controller.vbs file cause other tables not to run?

no no no .. controller.txt not the vbs file. It will prompt you again to enter the DOF/monitor setup.

And the directb2s file name matches the table name?

Oh for craps sake, so I just checked a 3rd time and one of the files had a space in it. sheesh! thanks. working now.
New question. I loaded like 6 roms for this table but I'm not getting any rom sound. Only the table sounds. Should I be hearing rom sounds? No idea what sounds this table had.

Try F6 .. see i there is an option to turn it on. I know its been said a few times that some of the kiss roms (perhaps all of them) have the sound drop out after playing the game for a bit -- perhaps the first ball. Perhaps its like that in the physical game as well. Can search here for other threads on kiss and sound.

Very nicely done jbg! Played KISS just a couple weeks ago and love the accuracy of the warm glow you achieved on your table. I especially like the subtle GI reflecting of the top of the drop targets. Great job :otvclap:

They seem to be working on my end. Not sure what the issue is.

I deleted my nv but the bumper does nor work. No points and no hit from the bumper and I think the bumper towers are to high in the desktop view. Much higher as in the VP9 versions.

I tried two older different VP9 Kiss tables and the bumper works fine.

It is a mystery for me.

Just an off chance, but there was one brief beta vpx that broke the bumpers.  Are you on the beta?  If so make sure you are on the latest.

Yah cause the bumpers are working and scoring for me. Could be the issue.

I agree on the bumper height in desktop mode. They do look a bit off. Ill adjust them in the next release.

Yes Borgdog, thats the thing. With 2547 works the bumper, with 2544 and 2539 not.

Perfect solution, only the high tower bumpers two or three floors deeper, that would be great.

Very good, though if you are going to make some adjustments to the desktop model then I suggest the cabinet is a worthwhile consideration, this era pinball did not have deep cabinets, Kiss actually has white painted inner cabinet walls and a chrome strip at the back.

Looking good maybe I suggest try applying the metal3 image to back of cabinet inner chrome wall.

Played for about 1 minute then crashed hard. Screen black and audio just looping .25 sec sample. Couldn't get out of it but system rebooted after 30 seconds. It looked like nice work. Anyone know about the bug?
