The way you handled the lighting on this table is brilliant, Knorr. It looks REAL. Holy smokes. You sir, are an artist. The physics are very nicely tuned, too. This one and Dirty Harry are standout tables. Thanks so much!

Knorr, holy s**t this table looks and plays fantastic! Incredible level of detail and refinement, it was well worth the time an effort you put into it. Absolutely spectacular achievement! Thank you! :otvclap:

Table is awesome ...  You make me feel that it's maybe time to switching my 1080p for 4k TV as playfield... :D

Hey Knorr, thanks for the latest update, the revised lighting looks great, that claw has got to be the most realistic looking metallic object in VP yet. Plays great too, definitely a showpiece and one of my faves!

Looks amazing. Although for some reason this is one of the few tables I can't play due to bad stutter...
Odd.

I agree - this table (work) is really awesome.  Thank you for sharing.

And I would like to mention all those perfect mechanical sounds on this table, which increases the fun very much.

Thanks to all involved

Game plays great but I am new at VPX and can't seem to get the music to work, any ideas? Thanks, NICE table!

If it ain't broke, it's probably a good idea to take it apart anyway!

I just post here to hear myself type.

It really is a superb looking table. I do get some tearing on the big flashers, especially on the right top. It's one of two tables that I see it, always on the flasher, but I have no stutter at all. I'll have to toy with it some more.

Turning Aero on will eliminate the tearing altogether (at least on my machine). I know some prefer to leave Aero off.

Thanks, but aero doesn't agree with my system. I had choppiness with it on. VPX can be finicky per different system. I had the same issue on BK2000 but I changed the framerate for just that game and it solved the problem, I assume it would also work for this.

Right click on your desktop and select "personalize." Select Windows 7 basic theme. That'll turn aero off. The transparent themes require aero and will switch it back on.

This table looks great, but how to I use the handle flippers?  I check the key assignment in the preferences, but I can't find a spot for "secondary flippers".  I believe you need them for the lane changer in the top left.

Thanks again!

Possible to turn off free play? I tried in the menu's. it says it is off but it is not. It also does not remember when I save the table. I looked through the script with no luck as well.

Hey all,

Frustrated and searching has been no help.

Since my experiment with different folder for each version of VP I have had some unexpected dramas.

Prior to this misadventure I had no trouble running Demolition Man, now for the life of me I can't find the DMD.

Its not under the playfield or backglass (B2S).

I read the script and it has a line to remove if the DMD does not display, did this, still no DMD.

I can hear the rom (very soft volume) but no DMD, at all.

I have tried with both VPX 10.1 and 10.2, no luck.

Table plays fine but no DMD.

Any thoughts??

BV3

EDIT - Fixed with HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\<ROM_name> and some more tinkering.
