Hi all, again please i Need one Help from a VP Expert !

Thanks again to zocky, he made a working .rom File with the "German Candy Voice" for the amazing Safecracker Table.

Everybody know SC, at the Game Start, a Voice tell you "here is Candy, you have 45 Minutes ... ", and so on ...

Now i have a German Voice, with the sc_18s2.Rom ... it works, BUT everytime as i closed the Table and VP, and later or again,
i restart VP and SC ... the Voice is away - nothing, only the gamemusic come to Play.

I can see, in the nvram Folder at sc_18s2 there are Changes at the File, i can see the File Date from now,

Anything - i think - overwrite me my Option in .nv for the German Voice ...

Anyone know, whats the Problem here ?

( atm. i solve this with a .bat - delete nv, copy nv_candy to sc_28s2 at Start over Pinballx )

( not the Best, but ok ... )

Hi all,

what a f*** ... Safecracker run on my Laptop with the SAME roms and Table in "German",

so i give this Files on my Cab ... the first time, it run in "German".

After i Close VP, i can see, the sc_18s2.nv was changed ( see at newer date/time ).

Restart VP and Safecracker, and the Voice is away, only Gamemusic ... and Flipper/Ball, ...

What does VP write in .nv ? The better Question is: After this, how is my Sound away, the German "Candy" Voice ?

Do i re-copy the "working nv File", and start VP and SC ... lalala the Voice is back ... Close VP ... restart: NOTHING !

I dont understand this ! Also not understand - on my Laptop it works ... boah crazy.

I have both .nv Files here ... maybe a VP God (you ?) will help me ... i am on 1.000. ... :hanged:

Please :cray:

SOLVED, after many Days, i checked the diffrent between Laptop and Cab ... there was ONE Thing, at Safecracker:

uncheck "Skip Pinball Startup_Test"

uncheck "Ignore ROM CRC Errors"

checked = everytime overwrite my sc_18s2.nv and "delete" German Sound

So then sc_18s2 with included German Sound File: safsnds2.rom (from ipdb.org) WORKING !

:clapping:

[end]

I saw a ytube Video with the german voices and I love it. At the moment I had the same problem to get this working. Table with color DMD and englich sound is working but I can not get to german. Any ideas? I read that it also could be a problem of vpin mame version is that right?

Yes I tried it many times. With Sc_18 it will work in englich perfect. With Sc_18s2 I have only tablesounds no Speech and music. I also delete with every Test the nvram. My system nearly up to date : Maybe it is a problem with pinmame?
