first time i played the table and 13 ball multiball kicked in i was like: WHAT THE ?!?!?!?! are you kidding me ?!? draining 5 balls at once ! LOL

it's a fun table for sure - looking forward playing it on VP

Played a few test games right now and, although I've added the drain post yesterday, I've lost all 13 balls in about 10 seconds Time to turn the speakers up, the sound of the starting rocket when the 8 balls are coming down the left ramp is pretty awesome.

 

Is this a mod to the vp table already out or is it a start from scratch project?

 

Started from scratch, using the new features of upcoming VP 9.2.

There's going to be a lot of flashing lights and thumps when we do a DOF config and 13 balls going off.

Yeah. And there is a shaker inside the original machine. Played that table about a week ago.

13 balls with flashes is nothing for DOF, that can handle millions of events in the same second without stuttering, and ledwiz won't suffer either, 5 effects on a same contactor at the same time = 1 effect

It's coming together: Added a lot ramps, static primitives and what not. A lot detail work needs to be done and the light show is totally missing.

 

BTW right now it's 2-ball multiball (although I cannot find the second ball at the screeni) so the rocket is lifted up.

 

Ah, I forgot to mention, the moon is still missing too ...

wow looks great so quickly!  Never played in real life, but do play it on FP since I didn't have a good VP version to play.  It seems like a fun table even though its a sega  Thanks for taking this project on herwah, really hate playing the unrealistic physics of FP tables
