I have no extra buttons on my cabinet. All I have is credit, plunger, coin in, flippers and exit.
can any of these be used?

If you use an ipac as your keyboard encoder I suppose you could map the shift key to one of your existing buttons.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or working as intended, but I did manage to get the ball temporarily stuck in the "Getaway" kicker on the left side.  After waiting around 30 seconds, it eventually was triggered, but then every subsequent time I had to wait around 30 seconds again when the ball went in there.  (Previous to the first incident, it had worked fine every time).

Is this expected, or is something weird happening here?  If it helps, it did happen after I successfully received a Magic Token from the vault.

I can't find the dmd....... Should I delete and re-download???? The coin was easy, just don't see a dmd :(. Also, can the volume be raised beside with F12?

Hmm.... So if I leave controller at 1 for vpinmame, the dmd is on the playfield. If I choose 3 for b2s, the b2s backglass works, but the dmd is gone.

I've fixed the hidden DMD in v1.01. To increase the volume you have to get into the DMD setup. Here is a tutorial how to do this.

Okay, got up early, put my cab back together and loaded this up.

I am so gonna hate myself today at work, but it was so totally worth it!

This looks awesome and the backglass integration is just amazing. I even think I got close to winning a token, but not sure.

You guys are amazing, what a pool of uber Talented people. Round of applause for all involved, fantastic! :otvclap:

I can't wait to see how this looks and plays with my new system when it is finally working, maybe, hopefully!

Now, it's off to the firehouse for 29 hours of EMS fun and games. :80:

Amazing. Going to load this right now.

A little confused on what the token button thing is all about.

I have no extra buttons on my cabinet. All I have is credit, plunger, coin in, flippers and exit.

can any of these be used?

As jhoff80 mentioned exactly, first goal is to get a high score and to win a magic token at the board game. With this magic token you can start an awesome Safe Cracker multiball. Therefore you have to insert this won token into the machine and you're doing this with that "token button".

You can use whatever button you want to use for it. To get the matching keycode of the button please follow these instructions:

First of all you should configure the "insert a won token into the machine" button. To do this check the script options and set "Token_Key_Test" to 1. Start the table and press the button on your cab that should be used as this special insert button (i.e. use your "extra ball" button). You should get a message box with the keycode of that button. Now stop the table, set "Token_Key_Test" back to 0 and enter the received numeric keycode at "Token_Keycode". That's it.

BTW you can collect up to 3 tokens as long as you do not reset the table. I do not tell or show you how it looks to win a token and where they are collected (you have to win them on your own) ;).

But please notice: When you've won a token AND you do NOT insert it into the machine for the "Assault the vault" mode AND you reset the table the won token is gone. You do not have to insert it immediatelly but don't forget to insert it before you stop the table.

thank you for that brilliant looking table

one thing , when locking a ball i sometimes get no new ball at the plunger

when locking the ball is fired somwhere up to the right up corner and disappears... i get a new ball at the plunger -  this seems normal

but when i lock the second ball there is no ball left to play...

have to wait like 30 seconds until the table searches for the ball then releases the ball somewhere to continue the game

something is wrong .....

i think it is the same thing that jhoff80 reports a few posts up ....

any ideas ?

I've realized during all my testing that this table is very sensitive. So i.e. I played the "Assault the vault" mode and received not 4 but 3 balls. After the multiball the table was waiting for the never returning fourth ball. I solved this with deleting the "sc_18.nv" file in the "VPinMame\nvram" folder. Maybe try this.

@herweh: i deleted the nv but the error is permanent

all you have to do :

light lock

lock first ball via left ramp

(lock stays on)

you get a new ball at the plunger

(just try to avoid the entrance over the roof and let the ball come down to your flippers)

fire the ball up the same ramp again (left ramp just like the first ball)

dmd says : BALL 2 IS LOCKED

and then you are stuck with no ball

I did this about 100 times without a problem.

Hello - i seem to be getting a square around the balls at times. It stays for a second and then goes away. Anybody else experience the same thing?
