This table is meant to be played with VP9.16 rev608 or higher. Any older versions can't handle the 3D mesh primitives and show you the old primitive shape. So it's not a bug it's a feature :D

ok, tried the 4/3 1.1 version with last rev622, all is perfect on my desktop (not still tried on the pincab), but the "swplunger" bug is still there = giving free points & advance bonus...

i've checked the script but didnt found what is wrong with it

looked at the script and fount the swPlunger error.

simple mistake

find the plunger init part of the script.

looks like this:

  'Impulse Plunger
 '--------------------
 Set plungerIM = New cvpmImpulseP
 With plungerIM
  .InitImpulseP swPlunger, IMPowerSetting, IMTime
  .Switch 20
  .Random 1.5
  .InitExitSnd "plunger2", "plunger"
  .CreateEvents "plungerIM"
 End With

Now comment out the line

.Switch 20

by placing a ' in front of it or just delete the line altogether

switch 20 is actually the standup target at the top of the inline targets, so everytime the ball is in the plunger lane it registers a hit on that target.

when you comment or delete the .switch 20 line all is fixed

"it will all be ok in the end, if it's not ok, it's not the end"

the left lanes (in/out) can also be changed with the right flipper, and it cant be

beginning the full multiball result in a VP exit with a vpm createball error error

Love this table but having a major issue.  When the "Release Orb" light is lit on the right lane with the target at the top, no matter how many times I hit that target it won't register.  If the "Release Orb" light is NOT lit, it seems to accept the input when struck by the ball (the machine makes a sound as if it registered).

Played some games and owned a real Centaur for some years: Playability/physics are perfect, it really plays like the real one..well done!

One (for me) important sound issue: after all these years of improvement on vpinball and pinmame rhe Bally apeech sounds are still wrong, the man;s voice should be darker/lower with a bass sound and i miss the echo sound in the speech and sounds effects but if i can remember you can change it in the dipswitch menu..try it, it's awesome!

One minor thing: yhe lights effects are awesome but it should be better to make the flasherlight more steps of fading which will make them glow more like the real one

Thank you very much for this jewel ande hope my tips are useful

Running it against the official 9.2.1 release of VPinball and the ball passes right through the flippers.   ???  Anyone else seeing this?      Works ok on DX9 version.

Update:   Never mind.    I am a dope.   I was run 9.2.0 not 9.2.1.    All is well.

If I am not mistaken the speech board that does the echo is not emulated as of yet. Personally, I think it would be cool to have an option like with LOTR to use samples. The FP version sounds fantastic and it uses samples. In fact Steve Ellenoff of pinmame fame works for farsight studios who makes "the pinball arcade" and this is the solution they used for this table: rom for everything except for the speech. Just a suggestion, table is perfect as is.

yes the sound emulation for this rom isn't perfect but this is a VPM issue not a VP one. Maybe in another update I add speech samples to the table.
