Troubleshooting... I think I know what the problem might be. Did the music change when you shot the A?

QUOTE (arrbee @ Aug 26 2012, 08:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi,

Great table!
Is there supposed to be music?

Not sure what info you want but I found a bug where the table thought there was still a ball in play after I lost it.
-ball went down an outlane but wasn't detected as an end of ball. I had locked 2 in the church and one into 'A' after lighting BRAINS??

Dunno. I wasn't bright enough to unpack the music files and have music when it happened. :S

nice man, that looks friggin sweet.
I thikn I found the issue that came up. Seems there was an event that mde the start of multiball fail. I think I have it fixed I just want to run some tests and then Ill update the DL and add just the .VPS for everyone who already downloaded. That or Ill just post the code and tell everyone what line to paste it into. Maybe thats easier?

Sweeeeet game. Just loaded it into my pincab and it looks awesome. Can't wait for your B2S release with your artwork for the backglass with the lighted eyeballs and all the other finishing touches...

No doubt Faralos,
Ive got a few in the works Im trying to decide which one to focus on. Matrix, Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure, or Monty Pythons Holy Grail.
Ive got a good rough layout already built in VP for Holy Grail, but Im more excited and have more ideas for Bill and Ted.... Ahhh decisions decisions.

ALso update for everyone I did find the mentioned bug. It was the start of quick multiball that was affected. I also found another bug while I was working on it. Im cleaning these up now. Man not even a full day in and I need to release r1.0.1

Hello,

This seems a great table, but I have copied the mp3 into the Music folder and I still have no music, do we have to do something more?

For anyone who may have dowloaded just the 9.1.2 exe you may want to DL the full install. I had music issues also when I was building the table and this is because when I went from 9.0.8 to 9.1.2 I only downloaded the 9.1.2 exe and the music didnt work for any tables using .mp3 files.

You might give this a try and see if it works for you.

Matrix sounds like a good pin to work on
as we already have one based on MP and the holy grail
I know Noah mentioned a while back he also was working on a matrix pin
but I have yet to see any posts on it
but Bill and Teds is just as cool a theme too

I've never converted a table to FS before, but your directions worked great T-800! one question though: how do you rotate the score display?

I can do it for rom/dmd tables, but these originals are new to me...thanks!

Sorry, been travelling a bit the last two weeks - this is fromm memory, but should be pretty close - Highlight all of the "DMD" elements on the backdrop splash screen in the editor, zoom in, right click in the middle of one of the objects and then rotate (I believe -90). While highlighted make sure the objects are not not locked and then drag them to where you want them (or you could translate them a specific distance). If you end up grabbing on one of the points of the objects you'll just end up dragging the point, so make sure you click in the middle of an object while doing this.

Hope that helps. Ill be back to my computer in about a week...

I agree.

What happened is I was going through a bunch of the original tables and WIP'S and stumbled on Zombie (you can read back to see when this all happened)...... I tried the earlier wip and saw that monicle had taken a break, but I was really impressed with this table. I thought the "lines" were outstanding. By lines, of course, I mean, the fact that your shots actually hit targets, go into kickers, follow laneways, etc.... not all tables do this and was something i really worked on with Eala for Haunted Mansion as well, which i am still not 100% happy with and may do an October revision smile.gif

Anyways, I am glad we all BUMPED this thread, and also very happy Monicle was still around to complete this table. It is a wonderful OG!!

Cheers,
Maceman

Thanks for all the support guys. I'm glad everyone pulled for me to see this through (and that I did). I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. If I had to do it all over I'm sure I'd do a few things different but that's what new WIPs are for. My scripting knowledge is better now than before, and the improvements to VP as a whole have made so much more possible. I'm aiming to put as much to use as I can for The Goonies with alot of my excitement going towards the DMD software.
I aim to please. Any suggestions on any of my work is welcome ans will be considered.

okay, I guess I'm some kind of stupid...still can't get the score to rotate for FS! when I hihglight the area, it only flips the black background box...

~sigh~ T pretty much walked me through it, but I guess I am still missing something? anyone that already did this care to post/send me the vpt file of the FS conversion? I'd appreciate it!
