I liked the music too on this one - it reminded me of the old NES Castlevania theme at one part.

JP this plays great and its fun to try to "build the lifeforce robot". The lighting is terrific and the physics is top notch, thanks so much.

I pulled your alternate backglass from your destop release and added some lighting. I have this on my cab, since the original artwork is a bit too freaky for me. Here is the other backglass if someone would like to use it too.

Cheers for that alternative backglass LTA My wife already wonders what I do in the garage until the early hours of the morning... if she wandered in and I'm all sweaty, shaking my cabint with that kinky image on the backglass I think there would be a divorce!

edit: I also encourage people to export the playfield image and have a closer look, the detail is gorgeous.

Why doesn't the extra ball award after the third body part is completed.
I've checked the dip switch settings and they seems to be set correctly.

I can add this table to my list of extra ball problems.

Extra balls not awarding, Future Spa, Playboy and now Genesis.

Are these problems connected to the rom? and how can they be corrected?

Don't stop me enjoying the tables.

Update 1.01:

This is just a "decoration" update. Updated the table with the new bumpers and real Gottlieb flippers
You'll find a folder in the zip files with the old and new bumper images so you may change or mix them, depending on your preferences. There is also a pink plastic image for the ramps if you prefer a less transparent look and little more similar to the real table. I guess most of you will know by now how to replace an image in the VP editor
I have also fixed the bumper wall not working.

PS: I'm afraid I don't know how to fix the extra balls not working. I don't know if it is an error in my script (probably ) or an error in the emulation (not so probably). Some of those tables are Bally and Gottlieb, so I don't think it is the rom, I guess it has todo with the nvram. Maybe delete the nvram of those table and kopi the original nvrams posted by destruk? (download the file from Getting Started "bally_6803_gts3_nvram" and unpack it into your nvram folder.

Extra Ball works fine for me. Make sure your dips are set for "Novelty - Normal" rather than extra ball and replay awards points, make sure the dip for game mode is set to Extra Ball, and the three or four body parts must all be completed in the same ball to count. You'll see Extra Ball lit after the third or fourth time, and the next completion of a part the shoot again light flashes, and when you drain you play the extra ball next.
I went ahead and tested extra ball on Bally Playboy (shiva's table) and it works fine too. You get extra ball by dropping the target bank twice, or by completing the five left standup targets and then hitting the rollover trigger - limited to 1 extra ball per ball in play. Once extra ball is lit, you can light it again, but you're limited to one per ball in play.

You probably want to make sure your vpreg.stg isn't set to read-only, and then make sure your dip menus you use are correct. I'm sure JPSalas' menu in Genesis is right because I tested with his table.
