Genesis VP912 1.01FS

Version: 1.0.1
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): jpsalas

Description:
Based on the Gottlieb table from 1986
This is a complete rebuild of my VP8 table, new objects, new graphics, many changes in the script, new plunger, ball rolling and collision sounds, fading lights ++

All the plastics and ramps are transparent.
But I have reduced the effects to a minimum to speed up the table as much as possible.

Both the desktop and the FS versions share the same higher resolution graphics, thanks to a new playfield and to the plastics Leo sent me.

Update 1.01
-Some decorations (bumpers, flippers)
- fixed a bumper wall not working.

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Thanks JP!

Out of curiosity, the pictures I saw of this table, the ramps didn't look like they were transparent?

Ah ok Slydog,

One other thing. In the HP Media packet here, the BG is different than the ones I've seen around. It has scores on the BG as well ss some lighting effects around a title. Were there multiple versions of this game?

I have used "new" plastic to make the ramps, that's why they look more transparent than the older pictures smile.gif

strangeleo72 had the idea of adding some decoration to the bumpers, and he got the idea of adding a "G" for Gottlieb on top of them. He made the "G" sent it to me and here it is the result. To use them in the table simply re-import the images bumper_off and bumper_on with these images. Another idea of strangeleo72 was to make the white of the bumpers a little transparent, so I did that too smile.gif

Funny, the first thing I thought when I saw this table was "solid white pop bumpers? Really? Who thought that was a good idea?"
Nice addition here. Looks great.

I think the speaker panel looks better with more purple, rather than the obvious redraw red and white border.
