Exactly. This is basically the same as the previous/single "Ambient Occlusion" setting was. But as now there is a way to also just pre-compute AO for static elements, we had to differentiate between the two.

So if you had AO enabled before without problems, you can enable it again.

Is already fixed. It seemed that there was a loading/saving issue in the older revisions because the target type in your table for target6 was 0 and that maps to nothing. Therefore it crashed. Maybe it's better to recreate this target again.

Random question... why does the sound manager close when you press "Toggle BG Out" ? Could you prevent that from happening?

there was a bug in that code, with a new build you shouldn't need to do this anymore.

I'm trying to set a ramptypeflat object to not visible in the script and it doesn't seem to be working.  Visible under RAMP is not starred in the commandreference.txt file so I assume it can do it, it just isn't.  So then i go OK, I'll just move the darn thing by changing the topheight and bottomheight in the script and that doesn't seem to do anything either. Same with changing the material to something transparent, does nothing.  do I just need to make this a primitive and be done with it?  the commandreference.txt file implies all those methods should work.

My script line is as follows:

highscore_postit.visible=false

The ramp settings are

Type RampTypeFlat

Material Plastic

Mode ImageModeWrap

Visible checked

Any thoughts/ideas?

Yes set the opacity of the ramp material to active then the ramp is a dynamic object and you can set the visibility from the script ;)

Thank you gStAv for these settings.

I can't figure out what to do with the Windows Performance Options because I am using Windows 10 and the settings are different.  Can anyone help explain which options should be checked to match the gStAv settings?

Regarding "Aero", it seems this was disabled in the Performance Options settings in Windows 10, but Aero is still available by making some changes to the registry.  Do you think this would help VP performance?  Here is a link to more on how to change the Windows 10 registrty to enable Aero:  http://www.filecriti...-in-windows-10/

Also, here are the Windows 10 Performance Options:

Is it possible to add a saturation slider?
Ok..this can be done in ie the nvidia control panel, but then it will affect all tables.
Colors in some tables are way to strong compared to how you see them in real life, especially when the environment is dark.

I'm using Windows 10 too,

What I did was put it in Performance like you did. Use haunt 1 for vsync and 1 for prerendered frame, and did the nvidia as shown. Notice a little bit of performance, but what did it to me was putting windows in performance mode. The other options I already had some of them and the others don't change performance too much but I leave them like haunt/jimmy findings.

My visual pinball experience is better now, so it DID something ;)
