Ambient occlusion doesn't really help. This problem is especially evident when you get multiball on C.Voltaire. Stutter all over the place.

Nudge seems to shift the table one way or another by a massive amount, which is not realistic by any stretch of the imagination.

Disable aero. Check the "Visual Nudge Strength" setting in the video options.

nudge settings in vp9** and vpx are two different animals (you cant use the same VP9 setting in 10) ... you will for sure have to play with them a bit then they will be just as good or better than vp9

Not overly concerned at this stage over Nudge, but am worried about the stutter.... Reading the forums seems a lot of people are having issues too. This really needs to be looked into some more

The main difference in setup is
Video Card
Motherboard RAM
Video configuration settings.

Do you think the video card is not sufficient?

Personally I think more code optimisation is required but that's my non educated view.

Do you get any stutter on CV multiball?
What kind of FPS do you achieve and with what video options enabled in VPX?

Also tried Judge Dredd - that table stutters extremely badly. Does anyone else have this issue?

My settings for VP-10
http://www.vpforums....715#entry321764

Looks like you're reducing detail and disabling all anti-aliasing, hardly ideal.

Tried those settings and nothing improves the stutter with Judge Dredd.
Improvement with CV however at the cost of graphical detail.

More focus is needed on this from the developers IMO

Hi all, your all very busy so I'll be quick! I've just popped out from behind the curtain (BOO!) to let you all know I've started a thread on the Code View Editor: (http://www.vpforums....showtopic=32813)

It's really about what all of you lovely table developers want from it, bless you all! Many thanks.

@Shockman: I'll look into these issues. This clearly shouldn't happen. Also the kickers are currently not rendered correctly, as kiwi and fuzzel pointed out, which is also not intended.  :/

I've done searches but can't seem to find the solution to this problem.  I have a few VPX tables that have a horizontal shaded portion of the table.  Not all tables have this issue.  Attached is an example of one of them.  Any solutions?

I'm seeing this as well on Tales from the Crypt for instance.

It doesn't seem related to an element on the table, as I've tried deleting a few things that were in about the right place, but that didn't remove the sharp gradient edge.

It must be something on my video card. But not sure what. No problems like this in vp9 or FP.

And it must have started with later revisions of vpx, because it wasn't always like this...

You might be better sticking to the official VP releases. You don't seem to be an ideal candidate for a beta tester, but that is my uneducated opinion

serious concerns...

lacking...
strange...
float...
woeful...
issues...
problem...
not realistic by any stretch...
This really needs to be look into...
...more code optimisation is required but that's my non educated view.
...hardly ideal
...More focus is needed on this from the developers IMO
