I have my buttons and LED's hooked to the LedWiz board and it works great. I have nudge setup on the KL25Z board and it works great. I also use x360ce to get everything working in FX3. I have issues getting VPX to work.

I probably should wire the buttons to the KL25Z board, but there is a button that is always closed which is button 15 that causes major havoc.

I created a virtual joystick with x360ce (and I tried vJoy) and merged the LedWiz and the KL25Z board together to make a monolithic joystick which works fine for FX3. I have all buttons and nudge working great. This issue is that VPX sees all of the controllers separately which causes double binding issues. I do not see a way to specify a joystick.

I have tried HIDHide and other HID hiding solutions as a work around. The issue with hiding the other joysticks is that DOF MUST see the actual device for it to work. Since DOF really doesn't have an executable to use as a filter, I am stuck with some ugly work arounds that leave DOF broken.

There are also lot of quirks with virtual joysticks. When using vJoy, Pinup Popper will not recognize the joystick. I can get around that with joy2key, but that is not "clean". When hiding the devices, PinVOL doesn't like x360ce.

Since I can't wire all my buttons to the KL25Z and hiding devices adds more issues than it fixes, how can I get this to work?

Has anyone been in this boat and figured a way off of it?

Thanks for any help or direction offered,

~Q

If that's the only thing that's blocking you from simplifying the setup by moving the buttons around, maybe the best approach would be to figure out what's causing that, and fixing it.
