Just a heads-up guys. I finally got around to installing UltraVNC (64 bit) on the Windows-10 computer for my pinball cabinet. In the cabinet, I just installed the Server part and as an auto-starting Service.

Seems to work fine for Windows stuff, installing new tables, VPX Editor and Prefs, etc.

Right now, I have the computer booted up normally (with all 3 of it's screens on like normal). Since my daily driver Windows computer also has a Portrait monitor, I can run it there full-screen (or scaled-down a bit) ... but any monitors and/or orientations in your office will work.

Also works with PinballY and it's config. Of course, this is not for playing but looks like it will come in handy. Even before (when using OneDrive for notes and downloads) the last part of the Tables install and config still had to be done while sitting in front of the cabinet itself.

This is on my LAN, and both computers just so happen to be wired ethernet.

TightVNC is also a good choice https://www.tightvnc.com/download.php

Windows RDP-server part is only available in the pro-version, not the home-version

Interesting.

For cross-platform support I use AnyDesk. Seems like these that let two computers connect from anywhere in the world facilitate that with a remote server in the middle.

With UltraVNC you are communicating directly with your other computer only, on the "safe side" of your router with the rest of your LAN. It is faster with lower latency. Coupled with the fact that it's just the Pinball computer, I don't even run encryption (for yet another speed boost).
