I asked to JPSalas to build the table because I,m the only person that has good pictures of that rare pin of Sonic.

Teisen and Bolt the minimum is to thank everyone involved because otherwise it would never have been possible to build it.

Thanks All,
really nice table.

Vpinmame doesn't show it correctly on my real DMD, so I used scutters tutorial to change the display from dmddevice.dll to flex DMD

Here's how it looks like :

solar.png

and here's the modified script

@JP,It looks like that the Match feature is not working, although it is enable via F6.

great work on this table guys !

About the match feature: it is controlled by the rom, so it is not much I can do. The only thing that can be done is to go thought Inkochnito's dip switch routine in case there is a mistake, but I'm afraid I'm not very good at those routines. But remember that after setting the dip switches, sometimes you need not just to restart vpinmame by pressing F3, but you need to quit VP completely to do stop vpinmame too. And after that things used to work.

I have not played much the table, since I finish it very quickly before I went to Mallorca, and I just have arrived there :) I love being retired, although the money runs away faster than a speeding bullet :) Anyway we live only once :D Now I guess I'll have some more time to play the table and see if there are any bugs or something to change. I have  used my new flipper settings for this table, which I also used in Lap by Lap, and they are different to the settings I used i my "arcade physics". I think they are better now :) (this remind me of Microsoft when they say "this new OS is the most secure ever...", hahaha

Thanks to all involved in this nice recreation

I've been away from this hobby for months and I think I'm a bit late with my VP10.7 version :)

When I open this table, I get this error message

vpx0.jpg

Where can I get this version (10.72) ?

On GitHub, the last version is VPinballX-10.7.1-187-ebe5596-Release-win-x86

Just re-save the table if you have 10.7.1, there is no 10.7.2
think vpx needs the version number to reflect more accurately
not quite sure what equated to 10.72 version wise

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 06.11.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- Some small script updates, like the Rolling sound, Fading Lights and PlaySoundAt routines.
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table

The physics were almost the same in this table as the v4 physics, so actually I just replaced a few parts of the script and reduced the size of the table, but converting the png's  with webp's.

Here's my Flex DMD version of this table.

Just add the VBS to your table directory (and make sure it matches the same name as the table)
By default Flex DMD is turned on in this script.

And after that things used to work.

I dont have a solution for it, but the dips doesnt works as expected (not caused by inkochnito, but the vbs that translate the hex to the dips switch numbers is not correct for this table.
When I ignore the sub from inkochnito's and use the standard dipswitch menu, and set all dipswitches to off, matching and 5 balls is working (this according to the manual). Setting inkochnito's to match the manual (with hex values from peyper.vbs) doesnt set the correct dipswitch settings.

I dont know how I can find out which hex values should correspond to the 2 dip switch banks. If this is figured out, a new and working dipswitch menu can be created.
For now, the dipswitches definitely not matches the orginal dip numbers in peyper.vbs

To be continued ...

No, the menu from the peyper.vbs (that will show the dipswitch numbers 0-15 (so skipped the fancy inkochnito menu in the normal VBS script)
