Pole Position (Sonic 1987)

JPVPX7physics:
new improved table and with JPSalas VPX7 physics
You can also find a version with nFozzy Physics in VPuniverse from which I derive this version with the physics of Papa Smurf that requires fewer resources

vp8 table by: TAB
vp9 table by: JP Salas
VPX Conversion by: Goldchicco & 32assassin
VPX Update:Nestorgian
Atr:Pedator
Backglass Art:Akiles
 1.3.0:
Thank you Goldchicco & 32assassin for bringing it to vpx and allowing me to
continue with the project
all credits to TAB, JpSalas, Goldchicco & 32assassin
And a special thanks to Akiles and Pedator who trusted me and sent me a
large amount of photos and information and worked with the art of the table
and backglass, which I removed the lighting associated with solenoids because
it caused delay problems in some machines. and add a lighting sequence
according to the table
It has the 3.0 physics and lut control of Jpsalas, the ramp allows the drop
of the ball at the top and creates some primitives in blender
to bring a little closer to the realism of the table
I tried to make it frenzy like the original so it might be hard for you to follow the ball

What I like the most is the devilish speed, it's a R.E.M. table xD, the difficulty to go completely through the ramp and the lighting that makes this table less dark. in addition to the new graphics that needed to be redone. Good job Nestor! and also thanks to Akiles!

Just added this one. Thanks very much. I dropped the night/day cycle lighting down to 2 notches and it looks way better. Now I can see all the lovely lighting details. Great work!

Great job on this table. I do have a question: when I hit F6 and change the match feature and balls per game nothing happens, is the menu set up correctly?

Great job on this table. I do have a question: when I hit F6 and change the match feature and balls per game nothing happens, is the menu set up correctly?

they seem to be misassigned. Leave the Attrack mode off unchecked to get 5 balls and checked the Score at 3.9M to have the Match active. And don't change de Bonus setting, leave in 3x6x9x for avoid the test mode.

I can't get this table to start. I can add coins (it adds 2 credits per button press) but I can't get it to start (pressing 1).

I fixed it by deleted the nvram file. Then I discovered that changing the bonus multiplier to 3/6/9/12 in the rom settings seems to cause the problem with the game not being able to start for some reason.
