File Name: The Last of Us (TBA 2018)

File Submitter: ivantba

File Submitted: 13 Dec 2018

File Category: VPX Originals

Author(s): ivantba
Jpsalas
Permission to MOD?: Unspecified

It was released in the summer of 2013 on The Last of Us PS3 after years of development work, which fundamentally beat the current console generation. Not only because of the unrivaled beautiful graphics / visuals of the game, but also gave something new to adventure-hungry players.
The PS3 hardware was fully embedded by developers.Peoples did not even believe that what a lavish visual content could have been cheated on a machine that had passed the end of the generation's life cycle. Later, a Remastered release was coming for PS4, which further enhanced the reputation of the game.

It is not by accident that the a post apocalyptic adventures of two protagonist, Joel and Ellie, have gorgeous adventures with a survival places.
One word comes to mind: phenomenal! A real instant classic that combines elements of adventure games with horroristic situations, creating the crowned king of the surviving adventure/horror genre! It can be made year after year because it can always show, give something new.
It has an impact on our emotions, reflexes, fantasy, and the gameplay that is filmically dubbed, and can spell the player.

In addition, the adventures are accompanied by fine tunes associated with Gustavo Santaolalla.
Not to be missed! So, just because of the beautiful memories I made the pinball version.

Original (my resource) table: JP's Pokémon Pinball 1.2.1
Author(s): Jpsalas
Thank you to the master, Jpsalas, for allowing the costumization of his stunning tables.

So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)
I also created directb2s file. But this is just static, as there is no classic UltraDMD display on the backglass screen (like whether in the Pokemon table). The backglass will appear, as I wrote the command line into the script.
But, of course, the table can also be played in FS mode, and the DMD will be rotated.

I hope everyone will be happy to play with The Last of Us Pinball.

Hello Dajz! I'm really glad you like TLOU! So, i did not even encounter an anomaly of such a bumper scores. I use this version: VPX 10.6.Beta.Revision 3556

I found the answer to your question in the original Pokémon table support topic. Jpsalas wrote, quoting from him::

"Updated to version 1.2.1. - Fixed bumper lights so they follow the Pokémon levels (they weren't reset, but the score were reset after catching a Pokémon)"

Scoring when catching Pokemon and bonus: inverted the scoring and the bonus for a better feeling. The scoring when catching a Pokemon has been reduced to 50000, 100000 or 150000, depending of the Pokémon level. The bonus has been increased, starting at 250000, up to 1000000 points, depending of the Pokemon level.
This pokemon bonus is not reset between balls."

So these are the rules of the game :)

I’ll try and update later this afternoon and see if's helps, I’ll report back later

Firstly...thanks for your time, effort and work, i know these are not easy to put together.

Interestingly... why does this game not load through pinballX. crashes on load [load freezes]. works fine running through vpx [outside of pinballx]. This is the first time i've experienced this problem. running latest vpx, etc

Have checked and re-rechecked , deleted and re-installed.  Has got me stumped. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Hello Weeksy17! Thanks, I'm glad you like the table! Huh, this pinballx freeze is a very interesting question. I have not met this yet. My youtube video also shows that my pinball x is successfully loaded.
Do you have an error message displayed on your monitor or it just freezes/crash at start? I example. in Windows 7, I run Pinball X "running as administrator" mode...

Hi Mate

Really like this.
I’m new to visual pinball, how do I remove the Pokémon video playing on the back glass? It comes over the top of the static last of us image you have there.
thanks
