I use buttons on the side of my cab for nudging.  However; I would like to up the budge on Firepower 2 for vpx just a hair.  However; I can't figure out how to do so.  I notice on VPX editor, something called nudge time.  What is this?  Also any help on the nudge strength would be awesome!   Too man good scores wasted because of the ball just sailing right down the middle!

For modifying button nudging

Search for nudge in the Table1_Keydown subroutine of the script, and increase the value 2 for the left, right and center nudge.  Try 10 or 15,  If you change it to 25 you can launch the ball out of the shooter lane  :)

If keycode = LeftTiltKey Then
Nudge 90, 2
End If

If keycode = RightTiltKey Then
Nudge 270, 2
End If

If keycode = CenterTiltKey Then
Nudge 0, 2
End If

I can’t seem to find these options on this table. I’m probably just looking in the wrong spot. But I have been at it for awhile now with no luck. Any more help would be awesome!

I think you will need to add the lines of script gtxjoe has written above.

Starting at Line 220 in the table script

Sub FirePower2_KeyDown(ByVal keycode)

If keycode = LeftTiltKey Then Nudge 90, 2: End If
If keycode = RightTiltKey Then Nudge 270,
2: End If
If keycode = CenterTiltKey Then Nudge 0,
2: End If
    If KeyDownHandler(keycode) Then Exit Sub
If keycode = PlungerKey Then Plunger.Pullback
    If keycode =  RightFlipperKey Then:Controller.Switch(57) = 1:End If
    If keycode = LeftFlipperKey Then:Controller.Switch(58) = 1:End If
'If keycode = CoinIn Then PlaySound "Coin"

End Sub

The red is gtxjoes script above.

The blue 2 is the number you will be increasing to 10-15 as gtxjoe suggests above.

You can copy and paste this into table script to make it easier.

EDIT:

Placed lines above KeyDownHandler(keycode) as Roger Roger mentions below.

Always search for "keydown" in the script. I always put the lines mentioned before KeyDownHandler(keycode). A few of them do not have it and some others don't use the generic Nudge function. I use a Nudge strength value of 11 for left and right, 12 for center, and also don't forget to set vpmNudge.Sensitivity to 1 or 2. Nudge does abso-fukn-lutely nothing unless the ball is touching an object. See this thread for more.
