Okay, I'm new to this. Any help would be appreciated. I have Visual Pinball 9.9.1. The PinMAME version I have installed is 2.9. The vpt file I have in the Tables folder is BabyPacman.uw.V1.0.43.vpt.

The errors I'm getting when I try and run it are:

1. "Unable to open BALLY.VBS. Ensure it is in the same folder as this table." <----- I can't find this file anywhere.

2. "Can't load VPinMAME. Variable is undefined."

3. "VPinMAME ver 01560000 required."

4. "BALLY.VBS ver 3.26 or higher required."  <--------- Again, this file is nowhere to be found.

5. "Line: 206 Variable is undefined: 'SolCallback'"

6. "Line: 39 Variable is undefined: 'vpmlnit'"

you are missing the VBS scripts

you need to download this file

http://www.vpforums....ads&showfile=17

and extract the contents to -->  YOUR INSTALL FOLDER/\Visual Pinball\Scripts

but in all honesty

REMOVE YOUR VISUAL PINBALL ISNTALLATION!!!!!

and reinstall it with the all in one installer

http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11573

the all in one installer will install all the (up to date) essential files you need.

or you will probably get errors when you try to run VPX tables,  I'm not sure if the stand alone scripts have been updated with the most current Core.VBS files.

Okay, I did that. Now I'm getting these errors:

Machine 'babypac' (Baby Pac-Man (Video/Pinball Combo)) terminated before intialized, check the rom path or rom file!

Script Error: Line: 61 Object doesn't support this property or method: 'BabyPacman.MaxBallSpeed'

Okay, it finally came up but now the flippers are extremely sluggish. They move very slow and they can't even withstand the weight of the ball!!!

How do I fix that?

their are two main reasons why you experience "laggy" flippers

1.  you have  a low end PC that is struggling to run VP.  if your tables FPS falls under 60 f/s;  this might be your problem.

2. each table is build on a version of VP,  although the table will load and play without any errors.  the Physics or script settings or rendered objects will not run as they should.

bad physics on flippers means that you opened a Physics modified table on a standard VP exe; or a Standard table on a physics modified exe.

unclewillys Baby Pac-man was built on an early VP 9  exe,  as suggested you should run it on VP 9.2.1  not version 9.9.  The all in one installer I suggested you used,  will place one in your VP install folder.

If you are asking for help, it would be good to explain what you have done. Look at how jerrysch explains his situation in detail

Ok, sorry so I installed VPX, and I have the rom and all the other necessary files. I placed the rom in the right folder. I placed the pinball files in the tables folder, but it won't come up when I start up the game?

Hello, I am getting an error: Line: 61 Object doesn't support this property or method.'BabyPacman.MaxBallSpeed'  This is the line in the code: BabyPacman.MaxBallSpeed = 40 '**************

You can make line 61 inactive by putting an apostrophe in front of it, this is just a ball speed limit check,

or play with the VP version the table was created with, based on the date of the table you should go back to the version that built it.

Your error indicates that the romfile is missing or not correct.
Check vpinmame if babyoac rom is correct and that you can run it from the test section.

You can find that file in the babypaca rom.

Try adding these roms to your rom folder and see if it helps.

Adding 3 roms as attachment.

Unzip to find 3 roms, but leave the roms themselves zipped.
