is this possible? I mean not to import another snippet, but really replace only the graphics of one with another?
Or reimport?

you can delete the Snippit, Import another Image, and give it the same ID, why not
in your case: just Change ID ?

hmm, maybe I stand on the Schlauch.
How to delete? If I want to delete a backglass image, I select it in the recources window and press Del. For a snippit, this doesn't work. Also: If I import a new snippit image, it doesnot show up in the recources.
I'm sure, I miss something very basic here...
Edit:
I think I got it. You delete a snippit in the "show illumination frames" mode. At least that worked.
Edit2: Think I'm too much focussed on the recources window, thought most stuff is managed in this one (just beginning...)

Yes, you need to click Menu > Illumination > Show Illumination frames to see all lamps and snippits
Just read the B2SBackglassDesigner.chm - there is everything you need to know about B2S editing. Few days ago this file saved me a lot of time
You'll find it in your B2S Designer Folder
Peace and good luck.
One day i'll build Vitalik statue out of used AMD gpu's.

My issue is a little more complex. I need to make a change on a backglass image of a B2S file. I can't find the image itself on-line, so perhaps I need to export the image from the B2S file, then make the change in some Paint application, then bring it back. But I can't figure out how to export the image. Can anyone help?

When you have dB2S backglass loaded into Backglass Designer, you will see Background Image in Resources panel.
Simply right click on the image and window will pop up for you to save it.

When you are finished modifying your backglass..
Click the Backglass tab at top of Backglass Designer, and then click "Create 'directB2S' backglass file"
Now you will find your new dB2S backglass in the projects folder under whatever name you have given it.
