Hi There,

Is there a way to adjust the color, position, and size setting for each individual game, or is this only a global setting for all tables? I'm in the final stages of putting my cab together, which is a two monitor setup where I am adjusting placement of the DMDs on the backglass of each table. One of the last little details is that for the tables that utilize Ultra DMD I cannot figure out how to adjust the DMD positioning and color separately for each game. For example, if I set the position on America's Most Haunted, set the size, and set the DMD color, when I go into my other tables that use Ultra DMD they will now have the AMH table's DMD traits. Since the backglasses and color schemes are all different, this allows me to have one table looking good, the others looking pretty sloppy.

I'm learning as I go, and I have a feeling this is an easy fix so thanks for bearing with me.  Any ideas?

Wow. Very helpful.

Suppose I wanted to use full colors. How do I assign them?

Anything to Hide the UltraDMD if the table already has one built in?

What script do I put this in? What folder? Scripts folder? UltraDMD_Options.vbs? Or do I have to create a script for each table?

You would put the code in each table's script..

Load a VP table and press the script button

It looks like Ninuzzu has made a GUI to do all these functions,

if you are using 10.4 look in your scripts folder , there is UltraDMD_Options.vbs

open it by - right click on it and select edit

and it explains where and how to add the script to each table

Im very interested in this topic at the moment. Can anyone explain more about the registry edit for UltraDMD. My particular issue is that UltraDMD does not have a size setting for 1280x720 LCD DMDs. It has has larger and smaller, but not this one. Ive been told that I can go into regedit and add this option. But truthfully, I have no idea what Im doing. Its a true mystery for me in there. And its compounded by the fact that I KNOW I can really mess up my computer if I do something wrong. I have tried some of the individual table script that has been offered, but its been challenging to apply across different tables, since theyre scripting format are not very uniform. This leads me to believe that the easiest one-time solution is to just add the 1280x720 radial button option to the UltraDMD confit menu list.

Can anyone provide me some direction on how I might go about using the regedit tool? I hate to ask, but this is programming outside of my abilities. And as authors keep on producing newer Stern Tables (as a notible example), this will become more and more of an issue for me.

I would appreciate any guidance very much!

Michael

I had my ultradmd's sized so they filled the dmd width but not height of my dmd for a while, i didn't realise there was a registry setting that could make a custom size.

If you open regedit and navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\UltraDMD you should see settings for x,y, h & w there, double click the value you want to change then select Decimal as Base instead of Hexadecimal and update the Value field. It's easy to do this in Decimal if you know your screen resolutions & relative positions.

My ultra dmd's now fill my dmd screen, slightly stretched vertically but i prefer it now.

Is there a way to hide the UltraDMD per individual table? I never saw the answer to that question.

"UltraDMD.SetVisibleVirtualDMD false" sometime after "Set UltraDMD". You'll want to set "UltraDMD.SetVisibleVirtualDMD true" in the table_exit subroutine if you do that.

Just before "end sub" should do.

Add "UltraDMD.SetVisibleVirtualDMD true" to the Table1_exit subroutine, just under savehs, before "end sub". Otherwise, it might leave UltraDMD hidden with other tables.
