Looking for some help in creating wmv files in format 128 x 32 for ultra DMD. No matter what I try I end up in non-legible text in my video files. What software or tips can someone provide me for creating video files to be used with UltraDMD.  Thanks for you help

create the videos at 256X128

If you make with large media and then shrink it down, it may come out badly

Do not try to attain too high of detail, as the end user only has 128x32 pixels to see it with if using a real DMD

Text should be large, too small and it will be unreadable
May be better to use media for a background graphic, and declare normal DMD text in the script over top of the background

Hard to say exactly, without knowing what you are working with or seeing an example

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

I use pin2dmd editorfor creating dmd stuff for my godmd clock.
You can create scenes and export them as gif. You can use gofs for flexdmd or ultradmd or use ffmpeg to convert them to another video format.

Here's a sample video to compare what i was able to do with 128x32 and videos.

Its for pupdmd 4:1 (should be simiar to ultra/flexdmd) but you will get the idea of limitations of 128x32 text compared to full lcd dmd 4:1.   not saying which is better as your preference/option can be retro-dots/dmd.
