My first backglass from scratch!
 
A directb2s does not exist for this game so I decided to make one. I know there are issues with the interactive part and that has stopped people from making one before but I figure something is better than nothing.
 
Found an image to start with and spent some time cleaning it up. Tied some lights in to the correct lamps the rest can be considered what I just thought would look nice.
 
No grill.

- Did a lot of work on the backglass image and it is a lot nicer now.
- Made up some high rez inserts to replace the placeholders.
- Flashers/GI should all be authentic now.
- Added grill.
- Made all the graphics and started the animations for the RPG. Not realistic, just eye candy now.

- Added the target graphics in the backbox.
- Added shadow/glow effects to the toy/center feature in the back glass to give it more of a 3D effect.
- Added full animation for the RPG so the ball shoots out at the targets. There is no way to tie it to the game it just looks nice. Would have made it less frequent/random but it is a pain in the butt to add more animation info and I have spent too much time on this.

Will definitely check this one out together with the new modded FS versions that are expected to be released anytime soon .. . Thanks for the work, there was indeed no b2s version available of this great table.

Does the RPG work in this backglass?  I guess the table script needs to be modded to support this directB2s?

An image for the RPG is not even included in the file,  

 

anyone who wants to make a proper RPG animation, should look into how the db2s files for

Big Guns (Williams 1987)

NBA Fastbreak (Bally 1997)

 

where made.

 

The ball animation,  will be nothing more than images that turn on and off,  all the scoring will be done by the components in the VPT file.

I have a working B2S for this....can't remember where I found it....I think it was included in the table download....the rocket launcher does work in it as well. Wish I could remember where it came from...

No working RPG I just wanted something to use since I couldn't find anything else. First attempt ever and going to keep working on it.

I've gotten so much from others that I wanted to give back.

I am going to work on improving the flashers to be more realistic, add option for grill and add a better RPG.

Will try and upload an updated version soon if anyone would like to have it.

Again never done this before and still learning!

Great work on this coyo, and thanks for jumping in to learn and contribute!  It sounds like this b2s is a pretty advanced place to start, but I can also see the experts jumping in to help too.  It will be fun to watch this project progress.
