A DT to FS mod of TAB's Super Orbit (Gottlieb 1983).
I first want to thank TAB for allowing mods without permission.
I also want to thank him and anyone else who helped make this table come to life. Including Inkochnito, Kristian, and Destruk.

Funny, I was just thinking about this game today. I always liked the sounds on it. I appreciate you doing this, and I would love a VPX version. Seems like it would be a pretty easy table to build.

This table popped up on the random files generator at bottom of downloads page while I was working on remake of Lady Luck (Bally 1986). I think I was looking for a media pack.

Anyways I saw that there was no FS version of Super Orbit, and no dB2S backglass, and saw that TAB allows Mods without permission, so I put the Lady Luck table on hold, and quickly converted his DT version to FS and changed controller to B2S.Server. I then used pic from IPDB for the dB2S backglass. There were 2 good pics there, but the one I used was the biggest and it wasn't lit up to throw colors off. There was major reflections in it, so I tried to eliminate as much as I could.

 

Here is the pic I used for Backglass..

 

As you can see, there is alot of reflection.

And here is with reflections removed...

 

I spent 4 days on and off working on removing the reflections.

Nice job. is anyone else experiencing sticking on the flippers? Sometimes they get stuck for second or two. Any ideas?

Not sure if this will help you but it is worth a try..

If you are using dB2S backglass with this table, maybe try running it in exe mode. Right Click on the backglass and it will bring up db2s backglass server menu as seen in pic.

I tried the table with backglass on same monitor and the flippers actually have quick reflexes for me. They actually seem faster than other tables flippers.
