Hi, I have been messaged about this table and the work thats been done.

Seems very cool, normally I dont like mods of my Indy and AF tables, but as all this does is add feedback then I see no problem with it.

Only popped in to say this, I'm not coming back in any way.

Thank you.  I've had a real Indy table for 20 years (sold it a week ago), so adding force feedback to your work was great fun.

Thank you very much GLXB. This is very much appreciated. I hope we can hear from other authors as well.

FP_ATTEMPT_LINK=1

Are you using using a 64 bit Zed version of the Future Pinball EXE by chance? I recently just found out that this will cause DOFLinx to crash, since DOFLinx was created as a 32 bit application.  It works fine with all the other (32 bit) versions of Future Pinball that I've tried.

Not sure is there a way to tell?

I'm not sure if there is some kind of visual indicator like a version number, but most 32 bit programs will show up with a (32 bit) beside their process in the task manager.

However the 64 bit Zed version still shows up as (32 bit)....

The original filename for it was "Future Pinball x64 1.1.exe".

Check as per TerryRed's suggestion.  If its not that, then of course I'm happy to look into it.  Just start a new thread for this issue in the DOFLinx forum with details of the error (ie press that "Details" button and screen shot it, plus you INI and LOG file.

An updated version of the Indiana Jones table has just been uploaded.  There was an error whereby both slingshots fired the left solenoid.

Just added the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) by rom with DMD by Hyperion to the list.

This is a fast, loud, flashy table.  I think the force feedback with lighting and flashers really compliments this great work.

Link seems to be broken for MOTU. I don't know if its a vpforums issue, but I couldn't find it in the FP tables section  either.

I can still see it as the submitter.  I presume not approved by an Admin as yet.  I don't think I've seen a notification that its been approved, so probably just timing and busy people.

Yah, I was the same...and the long weekend for Thanksgiving with my family. On the plus side...for the first time in YEARS I was able to play some real pinball! There's a place in Ottawa that has a bunch of pinball machines called The House of TARG. I was there with my wife and kids, so I could only play for a little while, but they have freeplay after 9pm...why couldn't I live closer!

They had a great collection, and sad to say, it was my first time having the chance to play most of them, since they were mostly newer tables, but they also had some great classics I used to play long ago.

I discovered one thing... I really suck at real pinball...lol. It's been way too long.

Just an update.... now that I have some time, I've been firing away on Aliens Legacy 1.12...and loving it. This my second attempt at adding feedback to a table, but the first I've done from scratch.

It's actually really easy to just add in DOFLinx support... you can usually click on the light or mechanical device in the editor, and just "Find" it's name in the script. That will help you find "most" of where you need to add in DOFLinx commands. It can be a *.pulse, *.enabled, *=true, etc  that triggers it...

What can be tricky sometimes, is when it's turned on by a custom variable or other means. Each table author may do things a little differently. This table has a lot of features, modes, toys, etc.. you have to double check everything in ALL situations, as there may be hidden features you didn't know about, or certain parts of feedback shouldn't work in all situations, etc..

Also, there's checking to see if Night Mode is implemented correctly and that the in-game mechanical sounds toggle when it's enabled, etc. It's not mandatory, but it helps to make the table usable late at night and keeps your spouse happy.

All of this is sooooo much easier if you use the Ball Roller function in Future Pinball. It's a life saver.

I've got the feedback mostly done....now its the animated lighting and effects....there's sooo much of it on this table to figure out. I like that we are not limited by an original rom's programming when doing this....we can make as many effects for ANY situation we want!

This is definitely easier the 2nd time around.
