File Name: 2 in 1 (Bally 1964) b2s MOD

File Submitter: loserman76

File Submitted: 14 Aug 2016

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME - MOD Tables

Author(s): Kees (original table)
Loserman76 (b2s coding and b2s creation)
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1964
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

With Kees' permission I present the B2S mod for 2 in 1. This is another tough one as I could not find adequate sources for the lights on the actual backglass, so these are really all just guesses. If someone has a good image of either the mask or the backbox without the backglass in place, that would help immensely.

As with Kees' tables, if you want to play cabinet version, go to the backdrop section in the VPX editor and move everything off the table space

Enjoy!

I was able to unselect "Enable EM Reel" and "Enable Decal" for the back glass to get rid of the EM score reels on the playfield.  How do I get rid of the text like "Ball in Play", "Game Over" and the like?

You can either click on each black text box in backdrop and then checkmark "Use Script DMD",(See pic)

or you can simply click on them and move them off screen.

Hope this helps.

I am super new to actually editing table scripts and all, but I was wondering if there was an easy way to change the key that "hold" (for the 21 score) is mapped to? I'd really like to link it to a magna save instead of A.

With table loaded into the Visual Pinball Editor, click the "Script" tab and go to line 248 and 249 and change

    If keycode = 30 then

to

    If keycode = 29 then

For Left Magna-Save change 30 to 29.

For Right Magna-Save change 30 to 157.

You need to do this on both Lines 248 and 249.

Be sure to save table afterwards to keep the changes you just made.

Hope this helps you.
