Is anyone else having a clearance problem with the wireform ramp that drops the ball into the right inlane?  In FS mode, and I haven't altered the numbers, my ball keeps getting stuck on the captured ball beneath.  I'm not sure what I should change to fix this.

Well, Bob, it appears that you and I are the only ones having this particular problem.  I've had it on both releases for VPX, but not on the older VP9x release.  I'm going to play with it and see what I can do.  I'll let you know if I figure anything out.

The kickers with the 2 captive balls work very well in desktop mode, but in FS mode they are too high and the ball on the ramp hits the ball under. Why it doesn't happen in desktop mode? Well, I'll upload a fixed version in a few minutes.

Thank you!  I would not have complained if I wasn't enjoying the table so much!

I just discovered this fun table, thanks JP!  One issue I'm having is the music and voice sounds are very low.  In fact, with the volume up all the way within the rom and in VPX, I can barely hear the voices.  The other table sounds are heard clearly, just not the voices and music.

I have tried this table in VPX 10.0 final and several 10.1 beta versions with the same results.

Any help would be much appreciated!  Thanks!

That's a problem with the latest VPinmame. I don't much more about the status of vpinmame, toxie is working on it.

I guess you have tried to turn the volume of the rom up by pressing the 9 key and then the 8 key.

I'm not sure which Vpinmame I should be using.  2.6 works, but doesn't have the most recent roms lists and is missing some features.  There are the latest 2.7 beta and 2.7 beta 64bit versions which have the most recent roms and features, but I believe this is the version I've been using and getting the low volume on some tables.  There are also the 2.7 versions for the SAM tables.  Which is the most steady version that will play all/most tables without issue?  I just don't know.

As for your Nascar table, turning up volume in the rom and using 8-9 keys did the trick!  Thanks JP!

I'm still having volume issues with other tables, most notably Sega tables, where the volume adjustments don't seem to raise the volume to a point I can clearly hear sounds and voices.  I'll post that in the appropriate thread though.

Thanks again!

No. I have not tried that. I thought it was only the GI which now it is controlled by the rom/vpinmame.

3.0 Updated 31.10.2020
Updated script, physics & graphics:
- added the arcade physics 3.0
- enhanced the images if they were not already 4k (or close enough :) ).
- removed workarounds for the vpinmame droptargets as they fully support SSF (hit sounds) with the latest vpinmame.
- new rolling routine that now includes the ball shadow, the ball drop sound from Rothbauer and my ball speed control.
- Easy change of the ambient lightning: Hold down LeftMagnaSave and with RightMagnaSave it will switch between LUT images, from light to dark, 9 levels, and the selection will be saved for the table.
- some extra collision sounds and added more random on the hits sounds.

this table plays super cool and is super fun! one small "issue" or bug found: If you dont plunge the second (or third) ball quick enough, it gets auto plunged and ends up locked in the left pit. I then have to kill VPX. (especially a bad exoperience if you are going for a high score and have a short break after a drain :-( - nevertheless - thanks for this great piece of fun!

I have not seen that bug, but I'll check the table and I'll let it auto plunge and I'll see if I can reproduce it. Maybe it is just a matter of changing the  Autoplunger release speed in the editor.

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 2.10.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- Some small script updates, like the Rolling sound and PlaySoundAt routines.
- Made the light inserts warmer.
