Hi all, thought I'd share some photos of my Godzilla build in progress.

• artwork courtesy of stuzza - many thanks to stuzza for his contributions to our community!
• cab is a Williams widebody replica (purchased as a kit from Noah)
• all original Williams hardware and coin door
• DOF control boards, gear/shaker combo and RGB light bar purchased from Zeb (brilliant stuff by the way)
• 10 Siemens contactors and a proper Williams knocker
• Flipper Fidelity speakers and sub
• 46/29/real DMD
• custom built PC i5/gtx760
• still missing: undercab lighting and a beacon

Many thanks to all the devs, authors and members of this forum for sharing their creativity, wisdom and ideas and thus making this build possible.

Thanks guys for your encouraging comments! I forgot to mention in the first post it's taken me about a year and a half to get this far. Certainly not an overnight process

My cabinet and I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. I need some massive wire cleanup.

Not a fan of Godzilla, but this is a great looking machine and super clean install.

Well they've said it above already, stunning machine ! And as from a engineering point of view i can

soooo appreciate a good wiring job ! I also like you've not been skimping on quality eighter, those

Seasonic M12's are superb psu's not to mention that Corsair, top job !  Bet it plays GREAT !, and i even

think it's getting loads of playtime !

what do you use for the audio part, woofer, amplifier?

 

The sound system consists of 5.25" Flipper Fidelity drivers, 8" subwoofer and Lepai LP-168AH 2.1 amplifier. They were a perfect fit for the WPC-95 speaker panel I used and they sound pretty good too! The Lepai amp packs a lot of power for being as compact as it is, 40W x 2 plus 68W for the sub.

BTW arngrim thanks for letting me pick your brain and helping decide to go with the Pacled64, it's working great so far plus plenty of room for additional toys

Nemo, thanks for the compliments! You’re so right about the Seasonic PSU’s, they really are that good! I needed a fully modular PSU to keep things tidy and was considering a few different models but this thing is nothing short of amazing: top-notch components, built like a tank, whisper quiet (literally can’t tell it’s running) super efficient and 5 year warranty to boot. Highly recommended!
