Hi There,

Black Hole was one of the first tables I loaded onto my cabinet and it rocked!! I played it a bunch then moved on to the other 300 or so tables.  Looking for another table to work on, I decided to give this one a go.  I'm happy with how it turned out and hope you will all enjoy it!!!!  This is a complete from-scratch build of it.  Things I did:

I started with only a manual and blank table.  I did have to peak at the old versions to figure out how couple of things worked.. (so thanks destruk, PataTrox and Mostly Decaf for your original tables).... it was mostly just A LOT of trial and error.

I did a redraw of both the lower and upper playfield from the ones TAB uploaded to the site. (Thanks!!)  Plastics I redrew from the best pics I could find.  Only things I didn't redraw are the space men and planets/asteroids..  those are taken from the best pics I could find.

----------------------------------------

Take a look at the top of the script... lots of options.

----------------------------------------

Credits and Thanks go to:

Thanks to the test team!!  The Loafer, Shadowsclassic, Nemo, Arngrim, dboyrecords, Zany.  With their help we squashed bugs and tweaked the playability.  They pushed me to make it the best looking and playable table we could.  So thanks again!!!!

Thanks to freneticamnesic, He helped get the lower bonus score working right!!!  He also did the primitive spring, re-entry tube and ball diverter!!!

Thanks to Zany for doing the primitive pop bumpers and flippers! He also did the window, much more windowy now :-)

Thanks to Arngrim for adding in DOF, and helping with the sound code!!

Thanks to all the Table Authors, Table Template Builders, Primitive Builders, etc. that have come before me.  It's AMAZING(!!!!!!!) what you have all done with this program.  I'd give you all credit but I'd never stop typing names.  Thanks!!!

----------------------------------------

If you find any bugs or oddities let me know and I'll do my best to get them fixed up.

Hope you Enjoy!!!

Looks great and plays very well.  I don't know this table that well, but my first game seemed weird as when I lost the ball in the lower playfield it got kicked out and drained without opening the guide.  This happened again and the machine got confused.  Is that normal behavior when losing the ball at the lowest playfield.  Love the spining B2S also!

Two ways to open the re-entry gate. On the upper playfield hit all 4 yellow targets to light the green arrow just bellow. Then hit the rollover in the lower left corner. That will open it. But... If you hit any of the pop bumpers it closes again. Second way is to hit all the yellow or white targets on the lower playfield.

You want to hit a full 3 bank of drop targets in the lower pf to guarantee not draining too. Lower pf takes lots of practice

That's an issue with non English language systems. I know there's a fix but having a hard time finding it. I'll post it when I come across it.

Maybe unrelated but try changing obj and stat both in that section of script from 2 to 4, or 4 to 2, and try it. Think that just fixes funky looking LED arrays though.

Thanks Fren, but no, i had to delete the 6 Digits Lines, i use the 7 Version - solved !

( Info on Line 55 )

There are no Lights at the FS Credits and BIP Digit at the Apron, right ?

Onetime, as i lost the Ball in the lower Playfield, Ball Comes not return to upper PF...

Yeah, if you use the 7 digit Rom you need to comment out the 6 code and you un-comment the 7 version of the code.... It's arround line 1250. That will move the bonus display and credit lights to the correct positions.

How did you loose your ball on the lower playfield....? Just a normal drain? One or two balls? Did the tube turn on or wind sound stop? I thought I had those all fixed, or at least had not gotten one lost in a while...

Thanks again for working on this. It's a wonderful table, superbly well done. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to test this and see it evolve to its final state

Thanks for the cred, and yeah, on this table each and every shot has to count. It's worth it to take it slowly on this table, align your shots

carefully and know the rules to score big points ! Really enjoyed testing this one out (we had MANY revisions) but boy did it came out great !

Top Job Cyberpez !

Ahh, uncoment the others ... of course ... but an If-Else maybe would be better - for me ;)

(If Romset > 4 Then ... Else ... )

Whatever, works now -> Great Table :otvclap:

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  It was a fun table to work on.  Glad you are all enjoying it!!!!!

Thanks again to the test team for putting up with all of my revisions :-)  I think the extra effort payed off!!!!

Thanks kruge99,  I plan to release a desktop at some point I have just not gotten around to messing with it yet.  Your settings should help tied people over :-)

Glad its working STAT,  I remember having issues with redefining arrays(I forget the error, but something like that) on my New Wave table when using if/then/else statement to switch them so I didn't mess with it on this one.  The code for the bonus display and credits was kind of a mystery and I was just happy to have it working.  Thanks again Fren for your help!!
