Thanks for the FS version dboy. Always appreciate your efforts on these VP8 oldies.

Using only one monitor, I switch the script to VPinmAME, and all works fine. However in the VP8 original there are six digits showing for scoring. In this version the display only shows five digits. So all scores are missing a zero......500 point rollover only displays 50 points scored.

I haven't encountered this before, and wondered if others have this issue. I tried deleting nvram but that altered nothing. Other than changing the scoring in the script I am hoping there is another solution.

Thanks, I can't stand the thought of them getting left behind!

I don't know anything about the scoring, even if I screwed up the DB2S, it shouldn't mess you up. 2 diff roms? Kiwi moved the Gate2 a little to the top.

Fixed the two central targets to prevent the ball is locked behind them.

Just tried the updated rom, but that didn't do it. Obviously the DB2S version still shows 6 digits....? Table plays fine otherwise. Maybe someone else that uses one monitor FS will be able to acknowledge that they have 5 or 6 digits when playing.

The DB2S that I have (and assume hasn't changed since upload) is a 5 digit display. When I made those it was trial and error. Maybe your 500 is only ever going to be a 50 and that 50 will just have to learn to make the best of it...

The lovely and talented Itchigo had this to say...

" what I had to do is use a snippet image (picture)  of a 0 as a dummy reel. Check out Thunderbolt.
6 digit game- a dummy 0 and a 5 digit reel. My workaround. "

I have the equivalent of first semester Rogue-ese so I'm not sure what he's saying... something about buying him cigarettes I think ;)
