this is a FS convertion of JPsalas Pole Position 1.0.2 table
only thing I did was to change the values found in the backdrop.

even though this is an old table,  I found some image glitches wen played with VP 9.21

Table needs to be played with VP version 9.9

This table is actually a lot of fun. it's one of the first tables I put on my cab 4 years ago and it is one that I find myself going back to quite often.  It actually plays a little more like a race game than pinball at times as you can really get the ball flying around the table. It reminds me of the old Hot Wheels Thundershift 500!

Agreed. Another table I've never played before in real life or digital version. Thanks for sharing this!

I can't play the table with vpinmame 2.5. It accept coins, but it doesn't start when pressing the start key (1).

It plays fine with vpinmame 2.4 and 2.3, but not with 2.5.

Are you able to play with vpinamame 2.5 or it is only me or my setup? Maybe there is something wrong with the 2.5?

PS: I have testet with my table and TAB/destruk's table too.

Just ignore my last post, I deleted the nvram and it worked perfectly :) (sometimes I forget the most natural things to do :) )

The nvram seems to be the source of a lot of problems with VP.  I know nothing about it, but was just wondering since deleting it usually fixes the problem could VP be set to just delete and recreate it each time it's launched or is that over simplifying the problem?

and not to mention that some tables actually need the nvram in order to start up properly.

Odd, I have had no problems starting any of the tables and I have never copied an nvram file as some people have had to do to get the table working the first time. I have wondered why some people have had to do that though and I have not.

Well the high scores are indeed saved in there so the option to delete it on boot up is right out :).

Thanks for the conversion. I noticed that JP forgot to assign an image to the spinner on the right ramp. If you select it in the editor you can use the same wire front image for the back....which is showing as a black square at the moment.
