File Name: Tales From The Crypt Night Mod

File Submitted: 02 Sep 2014

File Category: VP 9.x MOD Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): JP
LoadedWeapon
Manufacturer: Data East
Year: 1993
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

Ok first of all as always thanks to the original creator of this table JP! He did amazing work with the tools that he had to work with..
As for this release I have 3 versions Gold,Silver, and yes I tried to do a Physmod version :) If you dont like how it plays I can't help you lol....
I reworked as much as I could on this table and used some ramps from the FP version from Francisco666
They dont match up perfect but its better than what we had..

JP: For Original Table and Script
Francisco666/Rom: for ramps not sure if rom made them for him.
Dark: For getting the FP ramps out for me and Primitive Flippers from TLAH
Zany: For alot of primitives used on this table,Domes,Lamps,Nuts,Bolts,Spotlights,etc..
Me: Well I just did what I could to bring life to an older table  :)

This table Must be played on VP990
And the Physmod Version is to be played on Physmod5

Looks great!

It's been some time since I played this but I don't remember this happening before though I'm sure this must have happened in the old version since I don't think you touch the code much?....I've had multiball and drained all the balls but one but I think the game lost count of balls or something because I lose control of the flippers and my final ball gets drained.  Also a few times after ball drains it seems to take a long time to register that it's drained and to launch the next ball.

whatever you did, you just made this table alot more playable and visually pleasing.  I used to never play the old versions, but I just had about 10 games in a row

PS.  Any chance for an Elvira mod?  Is there any improvements that could be done with JP's version?

Thanks that's one of the main reasons for redoing these tables.. Glad your enjoying it.
as for Elvira I worked on it awhile back and now that I know a little more I need to add some lights to it. :)

This is awesome as I just put the old table on my cab last week. I found one in the wild and liked how it played. I actually started on a physicsMod5 version but I will check that one out too.
Thanks for all your cool and dark tables

I actually downloaded the entire tv series not that long ago for my media PC that's hooked up to my entertainment system, I had an episode playing while playing the pinball.  Also after watching the first couple seasons again (show is nostalgic gold) it really shows how many great references to the show the table makes.

I'm pretty sure the face of the guy who gets his head cut off for the skill shot "chop of the morning to ya" is the producer of the show since they showed him a closing sequence where the Crypt keeper had him tied up.
