File Name: Fire! Desktop

File Submitter: unclewilly

File Submitted: 10 Jun 2014

File Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): unclewilly<br />randr<br />JimmyFingers<br />Thewool
Manufacturer: Williams
Year: 1987
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

V1.0
Fire! williams desktop.

4 table uploads
1 using the BMPR with physics done by jimmy fingers
the other using standard vp physics done by thewool
Also a night mod of each
I couldn't choose between the 2 and i think they both play well.
I couldn't find a way to combine them into one table so i included both.
So you can choose for yourself either BMPR or standard physics.

If using DOF Change the variable at the top of the script to disable mechanical sounds.

Thanks to
randr "The Boss"
JimmyFingers and thewool for physics
Vampirolatino2, Shadowsclassic for playfield and other artwork
R-DuB for DB2S

so I can't play it at all but it still looks great!!

Lol

Great release guys UW and Randr, nice work. Models really make this table and the build of course is something else Scott. great physics also, special kudos for the BMPR Jimmy, the pin plays very well!

This is not a pinball table.

This is a perfect time machine!

Brings me back to my time in the Air Force, pretty much younger than now...

Damned. Once again after your Comet table you find me having tears in my eyes.

Thank you so much !

Great work guys - I played the BMPR version and it plays really well. I really like this era of tables and have never played this one... it's got a unique layout. And the lighting looks amazing. :)

The pluger has a more life-like feel to it. I had to adjust to that. :D

I must have missed something what is this BMPR I keep on seeing posted

is it a newer version of vp or a hack job like the new fp one

and if a pin is made with it can it still be played using vp9

A improved physics mod to a table. If it has it you will see set of lights in apron blinking in direction of ball. Been around a while now

It's not a program hack. It's complex physics code to help give ball movement a more realistic feel

Damn, nice table recreation, though yes that plunger needs to be notched down to at least 1, after all on the real deal one can pull back and release as slow as they are able. ;)

Object doesn't support this property or method: 'IsVisible'

How do I fix this? What version of VP should I be using?
