File Name: Batman Forever FS (VPin 9.2.1)

File Submitter: mfuegemann

File Submitted: 27 May 2014

File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): mfuegemann
Manufacturer: Sega
Year: 1995
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

This is Batman Forever by Sega, FS

Again resources have been thin and the only real good image was the playfield provided by Noah (thank You for that, Noah). I tried to extract the plastics from some pictures I was able to find and akiles reuploaded his archive - giving me enough material to recreate the apron.

The configuration section can be used to adjust the GI and Flasher brightness and set the table to B2S.

Thanks to BigBoss for revising the desktop version 1.0 and contributing much improvements to my code.

Have fun,
Michael

WOW!  Very Nice!  Eye candy!

When the ball goes on the little "Super Jackpot" ramp, the ball gets stuck.  Is anyone else experiencing this.

When I get multiball, there is a long delay before it starts.  Is that normal?

Nevermind  -  Updating to VP9.9 fixed everything

Hey bud I'm not one to usually complain but the layback on this table..... it's like I'm looking straight down at it

Try these settings, need to move a couple lights to compensate

thanks freneti!

but it's me or some "things" didn't scale well ... I mean, the ramp lights need adjustments and some other things. the flippers need more power now too ... I really need to start learning how to use the editor to adjust these things myself and don't bother anyone lol ... ugh ... soon I hope! :D

Awesome table mfuegemann (the pinball wizard) ... you cook these tables so fast its incredible!

Dmd has a higher resolution than 128x32, it looks quite bad in a real dmd, that is more problematic than missing shades, but that's how it is

So I think it would be best to leave dmd on backglass I suppose

Hi frenetic,

thank You for the settings. I will adjust the table accordingly - at least I know which lights and parts have to be moved, as I did it a couple of times before.

LoadedWeapon also sent me his table with the back wall fully visible and it is a shame to hide his improved image.

I will look into the u-turn issue. I think the metal ramp there needs a new texture too, now that it is visible in FS.

Regards

Michael

I actually prefer the layback as it was posted by Michael. The screen shot by freneticamnesic shows way too much of the backside of the flippers, I often edit tables to get rid of that view. I'm tall, so my view is pretty much like the screen shot of the currently uploaded table :)

My dmd is the same size as the playfield and it is on the PF monitor. All other 149 tables are fine. Not sure why this would happen.

Layback is personal preference...

I still scratch my head as to why it's brought up in release threads. It's easy to fix and change to the way you like it on most tables, just play with the backdrop settings until you find something you like..

Every table on my cab has just about the same settings or similar settings b/c that's the way I like to play, so I took some time and changed them all to my personal preference...

Nice table Michael it looks fun I'll be adding this to my cab later today. I'm looking foreword to playing it..

Thank you..... :-)
