Hello, hello my fellow Hyperpin people. I was wondering if i was the only one with this small thing.
I wanted to turn off the letters: free play - press start.

beceause the tv in my cab is positioned in a way where it's really almost not visible.

so i wanted to make it a little more 'neat' and just turn off the feature.

when i did this, the exit menu became really weird and unavailable.

i had to Alt + F4 the Hyperpin program, in order to get back to windows 7.

anyone else familiar with this?

i just wanted to tell you, keep the feature on and you will have no problems exiting/turning off the machine.

I think you need to have at least SOMETHING there in the HyperPin settings file, otherwise it sees it as an empty data field rather than a blank message.

The same thing happened to me a while back. With the attract text removed, hitting the exit button would cause the wheel to blank out and HyperPin to pretty much shit the bed.

What happens if you replace the "Free Play" and "Press Start" words with spaces?

Or maybe change the Start Text color to match the background color, so the text is not visible...

[Press Start Text]
Enabled             = true
Text1               = Free Play
Text2               = Press Start
Color               = 0xe10008

[Press Start Text]
Enabled             = true
Text1               = Free Play
Text2               = Press Start
Color               = 0xe10008

 Sorry to ask in someone else's thread but it is related ... I want to change the text color from the red (0xe10008) to something else ... after google sent me to Hyperspin site and showed me the Hyper HQ ( I know it is for HyperSpin) I thought that the color hex code would work in HP but it is not ... anything I change it to becomes black.
 Anyone have any luck changing the text color? I was looking for a Lime Green
