File Name: Mousin' Around - VP915 - FS
File Submitter: Herweh
File Submitted: 12 Jul 2013
File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)
Author(s): Epthegeek, ICPjuggla, OldSkoolGamer and Herweh
Playfield and plastics illumination by ClarkKent
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1989
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

Mousin' Around for VP9.15+

by Epthegeek, ICPjuggla, OldSkoolGamer and Herweh
Playfield and plastics illumination by ClarkKent

This was a 'from scratch' rebuild.
Table is saved with layer infos so for the best experience (and for the best flashers) use a VP9.16 beta build or higher.

Thanks for and to:
- Physics tweaks by thewool
- Flasher images and more from JP
- Ball rolling code, some sound files and the single ramp refresh idea by JimmyFingers
- Ball rolling code by Rascal
- Alpha Ramp Plunger code by Koadic
- B2B Collision code by Steely & Pinball Ken
- great help with the illumination and details by luvthatapex and Kiwi
and to all I've forgotten here (maybe).

Here is a pretty cool dB2S backglass from R-DuB.

The table features 'Customizable Options' at the top of the table script. You may easily select VPinMAME, UVP or B2S, DMD rotation, GI and/or Flashers on/off, Cabinet Sounds or Ball Size.

Incredible looking table.  Thanks Herweh, Epthegeek, ICPjuggla, OldSkoolGamer, ClarkKent, JP, and all others involved.  So bright and realistic looking.  Really hard to tell your not playing a real pinball table.  I just played 1 game and had to post how smooth and awesome this looks.  Will play this a lot more later tonight with beers, Thanks!!!!!

Wow. This table looks perfect.

Can't wait to give it a go with r-dubs backglass.

I even had to go get the ROM as I have never played this one before.

Been a long time since I visited the Rom download section. :)

Just played a game. Plays awesome.

Thanks for all the hard work and hours on this one.

I like the game over music better then the music they picked to use for gameplay.

Thanks for all the kind words. Looks like "Mousin' around" is as much fun for you as it was building and playing for our team.

So it's time here to say thanks to a few gents:

  • thanks to ICPjuggla and OldSkoolGamer for teaming up. IMHO we're an awesome team.
  • thanks to Epthegeek for starting "Mousin' around", doing an wonderful job and to leave all your work over to us
  • thanks to ClarkKent for great illuminated playfield and plastics images
  • thanks to Thewool for his wonderful physics improvements
  • thanks to JPSalas for flasher images, the fading lamps code and all he has done and is still doing for this community
  • thanks to JimmyFingers for great ideas like the alpha ramp flasher single refresh, ball rolling code and some sound files
  • thanks to Rascal for ball rolling code
  • thanks to Koadic for the alpha ramp plunger
  • thanks to Steely & Pinball Ken for B2S collision code
  • thanks to luvthatapex and Kiwi for great help with illumination plastics and a lot more

I've tried to write the script in a very understandable way. So if you want to, use it to get into VP coding. Feel free to PM me when you have a question about some lines of code (but of course I do not have the time to explain coding in general). And feel free to take some lines of code or my ideas to create awesome new tables.

If I missed anybody I'm terribly sorry. Have fun with "Mousin' around".
