Thanks for the tutorial! Works like a charm. One question though... On some older ROMs, pressing F4 doesn't bring up anything. Two examples: canasta.zip (Canasta 86) and stk_sprs (Strikes and Spares). Anyway to get to the sounds on these older ones?

Can anyone help me compile a list file for the "Medieval Madness" ROM (mm_10) using M1? I'm trying to do this, but I'm not sure what a lot of the sound effects are, and some of the music has me flummoxed as well. Also, I'm not sure if anyone else can reproduce this problem, but with the same ROM, I notice the sound starts to get scratchy beginning at around track 1334 (hex: 0x536) where the damsel with the Brooklyn accent laments, "Why me? Ah! My hair is frizzing! Oy!" and continues with every track thereafter. What's the deal?

No idea. If I knew another method, I'd have written it down.

I'm not too great on that myself - especially sound effects are NOT my bag at all. On the scratchy sound - it might just be a ROM emulation kink, although I haven't seen it happen with M1 that much, as it usually shows up when I use PinMAME32. An idea would be to try and export every sound - just because the playback sounds weird doesn't mean the recording will do the same. I've learnt that dealing with Scared Stiff.

Well, I've actually found that the problem seems to go away when I stop BridgeM1, restart it, and change settings so that it plays only about three seconds of every track, until it reaches the one at which I left off -- which, all things considered, is a waste of about 6 or 7 minutes -- and then resetting the program to the default settings and resuming wave logging. I've been in contact with the program developer and he says there won't be a new version anytime soon, as his build environment (Windows XP) is obsolete -- and even when he does update his build environment, he'll have to rebuild the entire M1 system from nothing.
