PinballY Javascript Addons - Back-Music.js and Attract-Music.js - v1.2 (Released in 11-2026)
These two scripts run hidden in PinballY's background ... one for background-music (while browsing the Table-Wheel) and one for Attract-Mode (turns the quiet screen-saver into a bit of a jukebox). Each one has its own folder for its mp3/ogg files, and each can be set to play them randomly or sequentially. The scripts can be run individually or together. Of course, the music stops when you start a table ... and starts again after you return to the selection-wheel.
Up till now, my cabinet has been (purposely) fairly quiet when on PinballY's table browsing wheel. My VPX-Tables have full media & videos captured, but my Videos are disabled (just still-images are shown). I find less distractions while selecting a Table desirable and it's obvious to family members that the Table isn't actually started yet. Attract-Mode is just (random) still-images of my tables.

I also found this cool open-source music that seems to set the mood for playing retro pinball-tables. I typically use the Nihilore tracks as Background Music and the Bolt Action for Attract-Mode (along with a few of my classic-rock favorites).
