I'm in the beginning stages of building a cab & I know NOTHING about computers. I have a wish list that I have basically copied from the Virtuapin site with the thought that if it's good enough for them it'll be good enough for me. I've modified the list slightly with some advise from a VERY helpful member on this site.

So I took my list into my computer guy to have it built. He posed the questions... do I need 32 bit or 62 bit & does it matter what version of windows I use?

He said my list was a little "out of date" and suggested maybe building it with more current (but similar) components & that it would be a shame to put in older/slower components in with newer up to date components.

Here's my list I that gave him;

• ASUS P8Z68-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
• Intel Core i5 3.4GHz Quad-Core Desktop Processor
• Western Digital 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" HDD
• 4GB CORSAIR Vengeance DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory
• 1x EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Video Cards
• Rosewill BRONZE Series RBR1000-M 1000W PSU
• If anyone has any advise on either of the 32 bit vs 64 bit question or Windows question it would be greatly appreciated!

If you are gonna be running windows 7, then go 64 bit, if you are gonna stick with XP, then go 32 bit...

Also consider a SSD instead of a hard drive. It will load tables faster and not be bothered by the table shaking around. I found a 120 gig at Micro Center for $80
