Fantastic table! Thanks to all involved with creating this table and UVP backglass!

Having a couple small issues with the UVP backglass. When sitting in attract mode and the LEDs switch to display the high score to date, I see corruption in a couple of the digits. Sometimes also happens when playing and players score is displayed. Also, when exiting the table, UVP server pops an error. The LED display below the cellar window on the playfield is fine. Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't have this error on this table, but I remember that the same popped up with Medusa. The reason there was that the playfield display numbers were not incorporated in the UVP backglass (but they are there in the PinMAME LED display) so UVP got confused.
Try editing the UVP and include the number display that is equivalent to the playfield digits. You can select a very small font for them so they will not disturb, or even drag and move them off the visible area (that's what I did in case of Medusa). It should fix the UVP popup error. It may also help with the corrupted score problem.

Is that the way the real machine looks?

With a B2S backglass, I'm sure it's doable smile.gif

Hi,

I appear to have a similar issue, except the scoring on the backglass is fine, its the scoring on the playfield that's messed up. I tried putting the playfield score on the backglass and sure enough, the one I created did display the playfield score properly however the playfield backglass still messes up sometimes.

If anyone who's fixed their own could share how they did it, I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks

Rob

update: I saw in the medusa thread that someone suggested to rem out the line associated with the LEDs timer and it worked! So... never mind :)

^^ other than setting the controller to UltraVP.BackglassServ, did you also add the usual subroutine and timer to the script? Try only using the controller statement without the other two... if I remember correctly, the garbled playfield digits happen because some definition is doubled since it was already there. Something like that.

Edit: while I typed, I saw that you already found the solution :)
