Yellow Submarine WS

Version: 1.0.1
Category: VP/VPinMAME 9.x - MOD Tables

Author(s): JPSalas, Maceman, Mod: Bob5453 and Djtroyboy

Description:
An original table (sort of) from JPSalas. Aesthetics and music mod by Maceman. This new version utilizes the MP3 tweak from Djtroyboy and also many beautiful changes from Bob5453!!
This was a BETA release from JP some time back, he made it by looking at 2 photographs, which can be viewed by scrolling down on this page:
http://www.pinballnews.com/shows/jukeboxma...2000/index.html

If you have Bob5453's latest Beatles FS B2S table, you already have the 50 mp3's in your Music Folder. You can download those with this table link.

http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?automodu...l&f_id=5559

Enjoy!
Maceman

version 1.01: Fixed a number of issues both graphically and performance.

Thanx for the report guys. I am not sure what happened with the rar file. I have re-uploaded with a zip instead and it seems to be working!!

@12345678........ smile.gif Yellow Submarine had different versions. Some albums contained songs from Magical Mystery tour and is why the Movie has so much more songs than the normal Yellow Sub Album. You will need Magical Mystery Tour to find any missing songs!!

Cheers,
Maceman

Oh Yeah ! otvclap.gif dblthumb.gif

Be careful not to have your music files renamed music.mp3.mp3 !!!

(Thanks Bob5453, I remembered this from one of your post! ) wink.gif biggrin.gif

Edit: The songs renamed following your instructios, inthe vpmusic folder are not playing. Are we suppose to use
"filename" ???

Thanks for the new file, the table downloaded fine.

It's a pity that I don't have the Beatles tracks that are needed for this table. The little sound bites that are in the table are just teasers!

But what I don't get is that Beatles' music is very hard to find. Nothing on Grooveshark or Spotify (that is, nothing ORIGINAL; there are many tributes and covers, but no genuine article), no Amazon MP3 downloads or anything. You have to buy the actual retail CD, and you better hurry because they have only 1 Yellow Submarine Songtrack left in stock! I haven't tried iTunes yet, but I expect it's the same ... have to buy the album.

This is an interesting table. I like how hitting the kickers spins the slot machine to the right. I know several Beatles fans who would be tickled pink with this feature! smile.gif

Hi Guys,

Where i live, there are stores called "The Beat Goes On" where they sale used cheap cd's. These 2 albums should be a staple in any Beatles fans collection!!

The files need to be in MP3 format, exactly spelled like the above...and i don't think sample rate matters...I have used everything from 128 to 320 and they all play.

The folder you need needs to be called Music, and must reside under the Visual Pinball root folder asa sub folder with your MP3's in it!!

Cheers,
Maceman

Very nice Mace, I had to do my little 15 minute modding, so it matches the other tables I have in my widescreen tables folder. smile.gif

@1234 - No, sorry, Do not include the quotes!

@open - I was close to buying that little pinball machine last November when i saw it in the mall, thinking it could become a collectors item, but it ended up not being so, and i am glad i didn't because they are all over the place smile.gif

@BT - There are many softwares and website that can indeed pull an MP3 from youtube. I can't really say much more. smile.gif

@ Bob- Bob that looks great!!. Can you please send me that so i can upload it as a 4:3? Is that considered 4:3? I read you wanted to do this in the other thread, but i wasn't sure how to accomplish it and am glad you did so.

Cheers,
Maceman
