Been playing this this morning, and love it. I've got the mechanical plunger working, but am having real issues tweaking it to make the skillshots possible. I can't seem to find any documentation on what all the various plunger variables do (Breakover speed, mechanical strength, etc). I had to move the plunger so it contacts the ball, which was no big deal, but i pretty much have it so that the first 2/3 of a stroke barely move the ball, and anything mroe shoots it out the top.

Anyone have any experience here?

Sorry, but I've no experiences in this regards but I'm sure there is a solution for that.
But maybe it helps to go to the script line '101':

' Impulse Plunger
Const IMPowerSetting = 41
Const IMTime = 0.7

Set plungerIM = New cvpmImpulseP
With plungerIM
.InitImpulseP swplunger, IMPowerSetting, IMTime
.Random 0.0
.InitExitSnd "", ""
.CreateEvents "plungerIM"
End With

Here you can fiddle about around the "Const IMPowerSetting = 41" respectively "Const IMTime = 0.7" time settings.

Alas, I think all those IM variables are for the impulse plunger.

Thanks Walter - absolutely brilliant! Your attention to detail is unsurpassed.

One tiny thing I noticed - although no big deal. On the backglass I think 2 or 3 of the images slightly move as the lights flash as if the illuminated image is a pixel or two out from the non-illuminated image. I only noticed it because I couldn't stop looking at it smile.gif. My BG screen is 28" which might be why I noticed it.

Cheers

Vic

I get kinda jealous when people's backglass is bigger than my playfield drool.gif

Saying that, I would rather play my mini pin than shift key bashing my laptop dblthumb.gif

Looking forward in trying out this table.....thanks

I know what you mean... my first playfield was a 10" netbook screen, and then somehow things just spiraled out of control smile.gif

I don't know if the table author is interested, but I just modded this up to use the analog plunger and fire solenoids to an LEDwiz. If someone wants it PM me, I wouldn't feel comfortable reposting without permission.

There will be a WS version, unclewilliy and 1234fd.
Still some reels to do on the backdrop.

I know that, Vic. That's why a put a note in the release file. "... B2S - Backglass can be used with any resolution but it's optimized for resolution: 1280 x 1024..."
Which resolution have you set?
If it's not exactly 1280x1024, there could be pixel deviations, yes I noticed that. But if you set 1280x1024 for the 28" screen and still have deviations, so I wonder why.
I've noticed the problem on my other B2S projects too. Perhaps 'rosve' has a plausible answer respectively solution.
The back glass consists of several segments.
I think it may be due to the occasional odd pixel count of the individual segments. Could be that they need an even number of pixels to be scaled more correctly in any resolution.
I will consider in the next updates or new B2S releases.
Thanks for your remark!

You don't need my permission to modify the table for your own use.
However, I would mind if you give the code without my consent. This can lead to unpleasant confusions.
You send me the code, and I can release it with the next update. It would be best if the code can easily be modified by the user for any individual use.
Beyond that then I can better understand your problem.
