Description:
Hot Hand pinball, Stern 1979.
New build using Destruk's VP8 VPM code.

Something cranky is going on with the magnets around the rollover pockets. Occasionally, a ball will hoover over the pocket without getting gobbled up by the kicker cup. Will release a new version to fix this once I figure it out.

I used a bunch of stuff I got from other tables. Sounds, code, graphics, etc. If you notice that I used something of yours, and you would like credit, just tell me and I'll post your name in the release thread.

*Fixed light positions. Thanks to bha19 for finding the error, and sast05 for finding figuring out what was wrong.
*Fixed the upper flipper rotation direction. Thanks to sast05 for the code improvements.
*Fixed the upper saucer scoring. Thanks to sast05 for the code improvements.
*I think I've eliminated the magnet weirdness. Thanks to Sabbat for giving me an idea on what might be wrong.

Absolutely brilliant table - great quality images and plays really well too. Many thanks!

I increased the radius of the 10 uMagnetxxx triggers to 55 and the ball seem to 'spiral' into the hole a bit better - probably not the best setting. I also added a kicker eject sound effect to line 668 (playsound "Mysound"), as that was the only sound that seem to be lacking.

Excellent ball rolling sounds too. smile.gif

Great table, very playable......thanks.

I think I've found a problem though.

No matter how good your shot is through the spinner,
the ball just bounces off the metal thing at the top (insert technical name here!)
So there's no way through the spinner to the top of the table.

Thanks tamoore, just tried this and love it otvclap.gif I agree with the comments about the great physics! Yeah I had no problem with the spinner. Fun table!

You are understanding me correctly, it must be my poor play then.

In over 2 hours of play I couldn't hit it through there once....some strong shots through the spinner just kept bouncing back.

Maybe somebody else are getting the same results.

D'load WS mode and adjust X-scale to 1.That should do it.

great table just wondering where to find a backglass for it ?? is there a UVP somewhere, could not find it on Dutchmans site

It's not just you.  My spinner shots also fail to make it through the one-way metal gate at the top as well.  You can see the gate start to open, but then it rejects the ball back down through the spinner lane.

 

Still a brilliant recreation though.

Wonderful table! Thank you. I adjusted bumpers (10) & flippers (8) to have more power and I gave the table more slope (7,6). These DIP SWs should be on to have most fun with this very nice game:

 

6,7,8,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,27,31

 

7=off -> 3 Balls | on -> 5 Balls
