So do i!
I thought it was my crappy coding.

Can anyone fix it??

I checked the Uvp manual there is nothing about numbers of lights etc, maybe there are too many?

I tried it out tonight, Webby.

It looks fantastic, but it's the only UVP I have that causes a serious stutter in any table. When the lights really start going crazy, the refresh on the table just crawls.

Now, I don't have the crashing problem that you and Maceman were having, but the stutter makes it unusable. sad.gif

Which is a shame, because the attract mode is just awesome... wink.gif

I have an old dual core so maybe someone with a highend PC wont have these issues??

BTW: In hyperpin, It gave me the crash sound but did not keep the process open in task manager like when i open in VP?

I have an i3, 3.1Ghz per core (if I remember it correctly).. Also a pretty good video card. I was running it outside of Hyperpin.

What?
Did it work straight away for you?
If not, what did you do to fix it?
TIA

The UVP is fantastic! I modified the backglass a bit to make use of it in a 3 monitor system (basically just expanding the horizontal lines, filling in alpha numeric area with the dark color of the image & blowing in a new Gottlieb logo). The error on exit ceased when I removed the alpha numeric from the UVP.

Unfortunately, I had the stutter issue as well. I had to move the large lamps from the palm trees and "Vegas" out of the way and delete all the beautiful tiny lamps that gave it the authentic neon feel. I put the larger lamps back in place and just put a small main lamp in the middle of the halos. It's nowhere near as striking but, I can launch the ball and go around the horn with no stutter. I of course made a backup of the full version before altering the file just in case one day the drivers and program become more harmonious.

Wiggly (or anyone else).... Can you post your tweaked UVP please. I'd love to add it.

Vegas is by far one of my favorites. I find myself loading it more than others. I just love making the guy say "millions" Millions Millions..... I got up to 14 once and then couldn't keep it up smile.gif

If anyone mail me the manual I'll look into the UVP .. as Webby's is very nice but resource intensive as a result of his 'wild' fantasy put back into his UVP .. wink.gif
Grizz, could you mail me the adjusted BG image please?

Cheers,
FD.

I put it on my server (as to not burden VPF with my temp fix) until the pros get one out.
