OK, I understand that the table uses samples instead of the rom sounds. Is there a way to adjust the sound level? The volume controls for the DMD don't work because the the table uses samples. I tried the controls for VP, but they are not working either. Any other way to control the sound level for this table in VP?


EDIT: Never mind, figured it out. If you get any crackles from the samples, be sure to check that the settings in the audio options are not cranked up. For the best results, I find that having the sliders just below half works great.

Looks awesome JP! I've always had trouble with this table because the art is so 'busy' (or something) that it's kind of hard to make stuff out, it all just sort of mashes together. Maybe the High res art will help that.

I agree that the earlier versions looked "busy". This version, with the layback and better images, looks a lot better. Especially at the top of the table, and the playfield is more visible. Thanks JP! dblthumb.gif

I never seem to get sound with tables that dont use the ROM? What do I need to change?

I think that you are using the rom sounds with this option changed to 1. When I do that I get sound but it is cracking.
I think the point of using samples is to avoid this cracking problem. but I cant get the samples to work.
First time using this kind of table would love to get help.

Yea I think you are correct CPS9 I had to do that for another table. I did see a post that said to hit f1 to get a menu to enable sounds..but I get no menu smile.gif

That line should be 0, since all the rom sounds are on the table and working very well. If you don't get any sound from this table then you should check the general VP sound volume. In the VP editor go to preferences, sound options and see that both music and sounds are turned on and the volume is on the right side. Then you should hear all the other sounds you have been missing from all the tables, flipper sounds, rubber sounds, slingshots, bumpers, etc smile.gif

Actually those are on for me and Iget the flippers sounds etc...just no musich or game sounds. ?

Oh and JP since I have your attention Ihave been trying to ask if you plan on updateing FunHouse. Its one of my favorite tables and I would love to see it with alpha ramps etc... smile.gif

I just ran this table and everything is working great sounds and everything smile.gif I didn't have to change anything.
