Harry Potter and the Silverball Dream FS 1.1.0

Version: 1.1.0
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): Neo

Description:
FS version of my recently-released Harry Potter table. Table is based on the updated WS version (version 1.1.0). In the interests of saving space, this version does not include the mp3 music files. Those can be found in the WS version.Enjoy!
Here is a FS version of my recently-released Harry Potter and the Silverball Dream table. Table is based on the updated WS version (version 1.1.0). I wasn't sure if it should go here or in the FS section because the FS section had only recreations that I saw.

In the interests of saving space, this version does not include the mp3 music files. Those can be found in the WS version. If there is enough interest I can add them to the zip file.

The rules and game play are the same as the 4:3 version.

Updates for 1.1.0

-Increase point values for targets during general play (non-mode)
-Change table name in savefile in script due to new point structure
-Change the default Ball Saver time to 15 seconds
-Change the default Multiball Ball Saver time to 10 seconds
-Have all shots into the East/West towers count towards tower bonuses andextra balls
-Enable the table to run House Multiball after attaining House Level 5. Every 100 hits on the bumpers after Level 5 is 300,000 points
-Increase the tilt sensitivity range to 0.250-2.000 (previously it was 0.750-2.000)
-Fix issue with stuck ball in the Spell Chamber at the end of Potions mode by adjusting the interval of the timer controlling the diverter
-Changed the slingshots behind the WAND drop targets so they no longer animate, force reduced from 8 to 3, and a new sound effect
-Fixed display issue which would cause a script error if the player's score exceeded 100,000,000. Display now shows the rightmost 8 digits if this happens
-Fixed similar issue with Special Bonus display. It will now show the rightmost 7 digits if the amount to be displayed is 10,000,000 or above
-Added frames around the score displays and some small graphical updates due to the scoring changes
-Removed all referces to the Credit text boxes as the FS version does not use them

Updated version to 1.1.0 has been released. It should be in the FS section but for some reason the system won't let me put it in the FS area.

Hi

When I open the Harry Potter table the ball makes the table lag. When it is in the trough it moves really slow. Once it is out the table runs more smoothly but with hitches when the ball hits an object on the table. All other tables run well. PC is AMD A4 5800M on Windows 10. Table runs good on AMD A6 3620M on Windows 7.

Is this a windows 10 issue? Is there something I can change in the script? I have tried Vsync, disable FXAA, change screen resolution, change preprocessed frames to 1 and 0. No luck.

Please help!

Have you tried clicking one of the lower Max Texture Dimensions located in video options?

Not sure if this will help you, but worth a try.

Or right click on your VP9.exe located in your Visual Pinball folder and click Properties, then click Compatibility, then click Run As Administrator.

Click Apply to save changes.

Also worth a try, but not sure it will help you.

Anyone else having trouble with this table running terribly laggy. High end graphics card and even tried lowering the Max texture dimensions. Anyone have any ideas? I'd really love to play this one.

This VP9 table was made quite a long time ago.

Try opening table with an older VP.exe and see if that helps.

Check here...

It will say 9.9.5 Stand-Alone, but when you go to download, you will see VPinball921_Minimal.zip.

Try downloading and simply copy or move the EXE into your Visual Pinball folder,(Where all the other EXE's are located) and start the table with the 921 version.

Not sure if this will help, but some older tables will not work properly without using the older EXE's.

Hope this helps you.

If anyone else is having the lag issue, disable Windows Defender "Real Time Protection" The table should run fine after that.
