I've tried running this table under 8.X and 9.1

The table boots up fine, displays fine. When you hit the coin button you "hear"
it coin up... but no credits are added to the table.

Anyone else had a problem with this one?

I have not had a problem running that table. The support thread for that table suggests using VP 9.08 which is the version I use. You might try deleting the nvram file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Pinball\VPinMame\nvram\stk_sprs.nv). Sometimes my roms stall at table load and exhibit the behavior you describe and I just hit F3 to reboot the rom. If I have to do this it is just the for the first time running the table. All subsequent table runs it boots up and runs fine.

Having a cabinet to play full screen pins is awesome! Check out my mini pin cab here on VPForums.

Just to clarify, this is the 1995 Gottleib alley bowler pinball you're talking about, correct?

I tried deleting the NVram and no change. You hit #3-5 to insert coins and it makes the sounds, but nothing happens in the game.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

This is the same for just about all Gottlieb System 3 tables

7
Left flipper
to game adjustments
right flipper
1
1
F3

Most of them have preinitialized nvram files here:
http://www.vpforums....u...l&f_id=1362
bally_6803_gts3_nvram.zip
Pre-initialized NVRAM files for Bally MPU A084-91786-AH06 (6803) and Gottlieb System 3 VPM Tables to accept coins.Added MrGame and Spinball

Any that aren't included can be reset with the above steps.

Thanks everyone!

I got into the bookeeping settings and for some reason the roms were set to Australian currency and coin door.
I changed it to standard USA door and pricing and now it works fine, except for the audio stutters.

None of the Bally/Williams/Sega/Capcom tables stutter, so I need to check some more to see if it's a Gottleib issue.

Thanks again for the help!

It's more of your slow pc since Gottlieb System 3 is the most processor intensive sound emulation visual pinmame has.

Ok!!! Great advice. What I did was I opened the nvram folder and deleted everything in it and then downloaded bally_6803_gts3_nvram and opened it and copied all of those files and pasted them into the nvram folder. Restarted the game, hit F3; then clicked 5, heard the same coin drops, then clicked 1 and she loaded right up!!!! Thanks Blitz17 for the advice. BT
